Lol, the OP's phrasing in the poll made it sound like they were cheesed off about paying credits in tavern so I said yes. I would change my vote from yay to nay if i could. Naturally, as a non-coiner, I don't want to have coiner-exclusive heroes. But still, if I was from a neutral standpoint, I would be sad and worried for the non-coiners.

I understand how Tynon is a business and needs to make money; there Needs to be benefits for coiners. But there is a line from acceptable benefits to unacceptably overpowered benefits, and I don't want Tynon to get any closer to that line. A coiner-exclusive skill move is kinda stinky for us non-coiners, like Greater Heal. That brought a whole new side to gameplay and made HR/Royal Challenge easier for many Maria-users. I don't want to see much more of this in the future.
However, I would be fine with an exclusive Thousand Strikes hero like has been suggested earlier in this thread, especially so if it was blue or even purple. It would be like the saffron/ahmose thing; many people are reluctant to transfer their buffed-up saffrons to ahmose, and overall ahmose just makes things a little more difficult. Maria makes things a lot more easy for her users, that's the difference.

I would love to know how people are actually using maria successfully, becuase I have found her to be the ultimate fail. With a miss rate of over 60% with a level 11 preciseness - I do not even try to use her, she is useless in my opinion

She is helpful for Ragnarok, GW, and Labs. And I also believe she is used in some HR and/or Royal Challenge replays. Seems successful to me.
