cheesed off about paying credits in tavern so I said yes. I would change my vote from yay to nay if i could. Naturally, as a non-coiner, I don't want to have coiner-exclusive heroes. But still, if I was from a neutral standpoint, I would be sad and worried for the non-coiners.

I understand how Tynon is a business and needs to make money; there Needs to be benefits for coiners. But there is a line from acceptable benefits to unacceptably overpowered benefits, and I don't want Tynon to get any closer to that line. A coiner-exclusive skill move is kinda stinky for us non-coiners, like Greater Heal. That brought a whole new side to gameplay and made HR/Royal Challenge easier for many Maria-users. I don't want to see much more of this in the future.
However, I would be fine with an exclusive Thousand Strikes hero like has been suggested earlier in this thread, especially so if it was blue or even purple. It would be like the saffron/ahmose thing; many people are reluctant to transfer their buffed-up saffrons to ahmose, and overall ahmose just makes things a little more difficult. Maria makes things a lot more easy for her users, that's the difference.

I would love to know how people are actually using maria successfully, becuase I have found her to be the ultimate fail. With a miss rate of over 60% with a level 11 preciseness - I do not even try to use her, she is useless in my opinion

She is helpful for Ragnarok, GW, and Labs. And I also believe she is used in some HR and/or Royal Challenge replays. Seems successful to me.

Just throwing this out there, but you don't have to buy Maria. There are dozens of other hero options out there. And when I look at the top of Arena, Ragnarok, CWF, etc. I notice that most of the top performers do not even use her.

We're a business and we need to make money, and we're going to do that by bringing value to people who support us. We hope to offer more options like this in the future. Heck, you might even see Maria available again.

You never have to buy a hero or Gems. You can be as competitive or as laid back as you like.

I think there should be another way to obtain heroes other than paying. BUT I think you should have to work for it like everything else.
I like that VIP players get the perks, getting a card early was nice It's only fair. Because we pay, you get to play for free.

This is the first real perk coiners have got. Coiners keep it F2P. Be happy you don't HAVE to coin.

Maria isn't even that great. Yes she may get useful down the track but at the moment she is happy in my hero inn making sure it is nice and clean

Maria seems to be most useful in pve. And as I've said before, Her skill is GREATER HEAL. Until that changes, I am speculating that there will be a hero at some point that has a not as great version of the skill.

Don't think this poll is very useful since tynon doesn't really care about these results. Is there a way to make a poll that only coiners could vote (since they are the ones supporting the game and all)? Obviously we non-coiners would say there should be another way since we are put at a disadvantage. But if more coiners think they are getting too big a handicap or would like more competition or simply think this is an injustice, then tynon might give this new strategy of theirs some more thought.

I understand what you are saying Dawn. And just to say, I am a VIP, just hit a rough spot and was unhappy about only having 7 days to buy Maria, or any other hero. If there is going to be a time period for purchase, 7 days is too short of a time. I also play Evony, and am happy that after years of playing a 2 alliance server, it finally merged. I have also spent money there. BUT the difference is, Evony gives you a decent notice about what is going to be an upcoming "deal" . Here, there was no notice that Maria was going to be available. So if you were sick with influenza like I was and not able to log in for a few days, the deal was almost over. and coming up with $5 in just a couple days isn't as easy when someone has a family to provide for and has missed several days of work from being sick. That takes a major toll on a paycheck. If the package were available for longer, and there was a notice ahead of time that the package was going to available, then that would be better. Yes this is a business, and you need to make money. I have spent money here, so I am not knocking anyone that does. I am just saying, that 1: The package should have been available for a longer period of time. 2: We should be notified about upcoming packages, so that we can be prepared for them. 3: There should be a way for non coiners to be able to obtain the heroes at some time. (this coming from a coiner) The game needs to be fair to an extent though, or as another poster said, you will end up with nothing but dead servers full of unhappy coiners when there are no new players wanting to go there. I am in the 1st ever Tynon Guild, iDeathly, and there are tons of coiners there. But the game loses it's fun when you coin so much, that you have to wait for a new world to open for you to be able to play. I have also seen the non coiners and how frustrated they get when they fall soo far behind the coiners that they quit. If you want the game to flourish, then offer things that non coiners can benefit from as well. Keep up the good work Dawn, and as always it is good to see you here. Lastly, the poll clearly shows that there are more people unhappy with this than there are happy people, As a coiner and a VIP, I myself am clearly unhappy about all I mentioned.
