We definitely did not anticipate players chaining stuns and surviving longer than 1 minute in Banish. It was originally intended to be an attrition battle, with players managing how fast and what order their characters died, while delaying Thousand Strikes from Baal/Cerberus. We started seeing long stun chains and realized that is how players wanted the battle to be. It does add both an element of luck and skill to use stun-reliant strategies. So we left it alone.
I think that things are getting absurd at this point and probably stuns should be removed, or else Baal should automatically break out of all stuns on the 6-8th round. But I don't make these decisions.
