Stamina is worth spending gems on now.

Most of my gems go into b/s and talents on thorsdays. It doesn't really matter how long the cooldown is... best to wait until it is just under a multiple of 2 hours.

Slots are pretty important... I wait until I could embed a level 3 or 4. (opening a bunch of slots and putting level 1's or 2's isn't worth it)
