Caribbean Pirates: Seriously bad game design

Everyone, please remember that princess here has had 37 years of game design and playing experience,

Of course she would have known to research a game feature before ranting out because someone sunk her boat.

Of course she would have asked other players who has had more experience in this game than her, to find out how things are done.

Of course all that gaming experience (37 years ago, that would be Atari or Commodores) that she has garnered over the years has given her the common sense to learn about a game feature than just go bashing the game in the forums.



And yes, I agree with Matt, I request for this thread to be closed and put somewhere the sun don't shine.

Enough is enough. Don't pretend you were giving "the game designers solid feedback on their game" and that it is a "gift." This is just a small example of what you wrote. You can't write stuff like this and flip it around and call it something that it is not. You have a serious attitude problem and that is clear to everyone that read your messages. How arrogant must you be to turn around and call your post a "gift." Unbelievable.

I'm not even defending the game like other people here are. There are lots of possible improvements. I've read a lot of complaints on these forums that I agree with. Some of yours is valid and some were incorrect (you don't lose your map when you disembark), but in no way was it presented as constructive feedback. That's the issue.

Stop sink and pass and I'll believe that Pirates is improved.
Limit sinking the way sailing is. 4 sails and 4 sinks. THAT will be an improvement.
Before you hate on me we have a HUGE sink and pass problem on 1 of my servers.
1 player with probably 30 accts. Sinking and passing with impunity.
I do know of what I speak.

As for "princess"....
that name is part of the problem.
The attitude of many "experienced" players.
Rather than be constructive or to offer REAL help, too many turned to name calling.
That attitude is all too prevalent.
Go back and read the whole thread. Do so from the perspective of a new player.
It doesn't look so good from there does it?

None of you stepped up and tendered an invitation to a guild on a different server.
None of you offered real help.
As Tynon ambassadors you all failed miserably.

Grogon my friend you are so full of it. We have all been new players and gone through the same problem he/she has been through. That is how you learn a new game trial and error. Coming in the forums and being all high and mighty is not helping his/her cause.

If he/she needed help all they have to do is ask it is simple as that. But claiming to be an experienced player of other games and then struggling to figure out pirates is in my mind a noob ( yes that is my name too) who has a bad attitude and throws a tantrum when things don't do their way.

Before you shoot your mouth read the post and learn to read between the lines or is that too complicated for you ?
