Gem stakes and auto collect

So Im trying to figure out f there is a bug, or if they changed something in arena.

If you have auto collect form VIP3+

Someone hits you in arena when you have credits as stakes, they get half, and when the timer is up the auto collect feature collects half for you. This has been double checked and I know this works.

Yet I have had 2 guild members in the past 24 hours who have auto collect, and with gem stakes posted, someone hit them, took half, yet auto collect did not collect the other half for them - so they did not get any gems. - But both build members were online when the timer hit 0 and auto collect should have triggered and collected half for them.


Why are gem stakes not auto claiming when you lost half?

Is this a bug?
Is this how the arena works now?

Any ideas folks?

Mine auto-collected, so must be a bug or glitch. If they were online, they should have checked... and collected, maybe?

Yes, this is a bug that has been around forever. Auto collect doesn't always work
the way people would like it to work.

It appears related to the games perception of your login state, things like :
whether your local computer went to sleep,
your mouse focus is not in that window, and
whether there was a rollover through midnight.

Players in my guild have been complaining about this too they are online and doing activities on their profile when even simple rewards like coins was not accepted for them. They say this happens when someone else grabs theri stakes and they get 0 instead of getting half

I am VP6 (on another server), and I can tell you - when gems are involved, auto collect does not work. Also, if someone hits me when I have gems at stake, if I do not revenge, I get nothing. This has happened more than once. TYNON - if you're going to advertise a benefit for being at a higher VIP level, at least make sure it works. Or at least, clarify the conditions of auto collect.

The problem is when stakes are stolen auto collect doesn't work for people they d not get the half as they should and mainly noticeable when they have gem stakes.

Not sure about this. It used to work, and I know I have collected half. But it's been a while so something my have changed.

when they changed the arena - u have to fight them to get it back now-
- even when online in game if u don't hit them back the person with the stakes at first will not get 1/2 or anything.
Nice if u have 100 gems and want to share and are online to get them back
Not so nice if u have 100 gems and someone takes 50 while u are afk and don't know

before the arena change those with auto-collect would auto get 1/2 any stakes, now u don't
