Whats going on with CW?

Sounds like I should tell the guys to change the timers to reflect the time remaining to enroll instead of the time remaining until it begins.

Yes please do!!! The timer is goofy the way they have it set up. It is not simple to figure it out. It is not 48 hrs prior either, some odd number... then once you have joined you can't tell when it goes off as now your timer is greyed out. I know we send out a group mail when we see it open, because Tynon have decided that mails are not worth their time anymore.

ohh? it does NOT begin then? by the time it reaches 00:00 another 8 hours are added atleast here on EU servers.

its end @ 00:00 midday and 8 hours later in the evening it starts..

first time CWF was there i was sitting there waiting for the counter to go down then i see another 8 hours waiting..

so the current time displayed is based on another time zone? where it does start there?

and to fix everything allow enrollment to take place earlier maybe?

What I have observed from the weeks of it so far is; timer starts, some hundreds of hours prior. No mail that it's started, just notice it changes to "premliminaries". Then when it gets below 48 hrs, I'd guess like ~32?, the "join" lights up. But the join only lasts a few hours, then it's closed. (I don't know exactly how long, as I always join fast, then it's greyed out) Then if you missed that window, you are locked out til the next one. I believe that is something like 24hrs prior to the end of timer. The actual timer works on when the first selection happens, not the start of it. The actual first battles begin then at 8pm st., 8 hrs later. So, it is confusing. Again, no mail from Tynon during this process whatsoever.

This is correct. When the timer reaches 0, you are given 8 hours to set forms for preliminaries. This, and alot of other features in the game need much better explanation in my personal opinion. It would save alot of the problems with people coming to the forums upset because things didn't go the way they thought they would, just because it wasn't explained properly. :/

That is kind of useless as most of us wont see it at the very specific time

Sounds like we should do several timers in order:

Timer 1: Time remaining until enrollment begins
Timer 2: Time remaining until enrollment is closed
Timer 3: Time remaining until the next round begins

Each timer would start when the previous timer reaches 0. Sound good?

Timer 2 and 3 sounds good, but timer 1 should be eliminated by starting registration for next CW as soon as the current one is finished.
