They get cluttered with misinformation and useless threads - making it difficult to find what you are looking for.

I think the devs should communicate with us ALOT more then they do. But they already have a better communication tool in place - that is seriously under utilized NEWS. You know when you log in theres that news section and its totally wasted with all the announcements of new servers. The devs could post information there for EVERY player to see and look through. They could improve the feature to make it better. They could also use a newsletter that you sign up for on the main page or when you create an account. SO every player gets it emailed to them. These 2 methods provide a 1 way communication directly to all players with out them having to read the endless ranting and whining, without us expecting them to responds to us, without someone having to search the forums for that little nugget of information. Of course all this information could then be double posted in forums for the forum users to bitch and rant about but that would be secondary., The point is to communicate with all players in a clean and effective way. I do not believe teh forums is teh best place for that communication.
I am actually following your train of thought matt for the Devs to make more use of the mail system in the actual game
I appreciate your feedback and I actually kinda like it.
    Thank you

NOt the mail system in game. That is somewhat limited in my mind. I mean actual emails to our chosen email accounts or posts on the tynon home page in that news section.

That would be much appreciated Dawnseeker.
Patience can be easier cultivated when informed in some way or another.

Better patch notes in the in-game mail or on the forums would be appreciated too. I still have guild mates who are just now finding out about things like the execute button in heroic realm.

Thank you a lot for you keeping in touch with us and keeping us updated in one way or another
Many players appreciate the work that you do on these forums

All I can say at this moment is that if you like it and seeing the number of votes on this poll this idea should be implemented

Matt what do you think there is a forum thread called Tynon news for ?? . I am pretty sure it is not for players to rant and bitch but to keep players informed. That is where this idea is meant to be implemented. You can bitch and rant all you want in the general discussions. They already have a separate section for the news so why not use it for what it was created

Because i would estimate not even 40% of the people who play tynon read the forums. That is one reason I think this should be done outside of the forums, but as I said, it could also be double posted on the forums for us to go on ad nausea about here. But the devs should communicate in a clear effective way that cant be muddied up by us players that is easier to access then the forums. I am not saying the forums are hard to use, but an email newsletter or the NEWS section of the main page is much more seen by all players then the forums and would be a much more effective tool imo to make announcements from the dev team. I have seen other games use this method instead of the forums and I prefer it. I think it would be less intimidating for the dev team as well. I mean poor dawn takes the brunt of our rantings and if I was a dev I would want nothing to do with the forums - I would be much happier sending out a newsletter noone can respond to.
