I agree with everything you said. The ones that quit after a few hours will still quit no matter what you do. The game is not for them. The ones I am trying to keep from quitting are the ones that play for a few days and quit because of frustration with the game. I know that the Developers believe that the players should find things by trial and error, but that leads to a lot of frustration and that, in my opinion, id the primary reason that we loose the players that make it past the first day or two. I am not trying to make the game more noob friendly, just provide a 'training area' where the noobs can learn the game by competing with other noobs and and be able to get advice from experienced players.

One of the most frustrating things for Noobs is sailing. I tried to get the dominant guild in the server to agree to a no sinking if the combined power in the boat was under 4 mil and they were not interested.
