Gold heroes getting white saints

I saw quite a few people get white saints on purple heroes before the latest patch

Yup, I've got a white saint on my Herja that was awarded mundanely and without transfer. Seen other players receive the same on their purples.

My thoughts are this; I think you have a chance of getting white sancts on any colour but are less likely to get them on purple and especially gold. The OP was incredibly unlucky here.

I have been lucky and not yet received any on gold heroes.
I was informing if they only came from transfers or also from cards and whether or not this is a new feature.
Untill then, I am keeping my sainting to a minimum since I really would be unhappy with a white saint on my gold hero...

other players have described this phenomenon something like this:
if you start sanctification on a hero check what the first few stats are and the following ones will be like those until it switches. for example if you are getting 3 yellow attack stats you are most likely to get more yellows like it until it switched to purples and then blues. if you dont like them, reset and try again.
that worked until recently where the GM's started messing around with the hero cards (blues changed, tavern changed, new heroes added, blue changed again, tavern event changed, purple stats are now yellow, etc...) and since then we dont get the above structuring but some random adds that let it switch from getting yellow to getting white and then a purple if you lucky.
