As others have mentioned, avoid teleports. You have no idea where it could take you. It could send you right to the end, send you to a -4 destiny, send you right into the middle of a bunch of tiles you already explored. It's not worth the 5 extra pts. Just like smokingfox said, use it only as a last resort.
