How about giving the Host and VHs some kind of bonus say after lvl 4 guild. Like a 5% less BS cost or some such thing, finding it hard to get players to take VHs spots and since there is no incentive to be a VH why not stay just a normal player with no hassles, cant blame them really.
There's not much hassle being a VH either. The only job for the VH is to process the applications from alts and realm jumpers coming in and out of the guild
Ummm no they do more then just that. VH can do guild war roster which is the biggest reason players do not want the job, if the host and other VHs are not be able to set it up some days it will fall on them to do it, so why bother having that responsibility as you get the same benefits without being a VH, this is why I think there should be a bonus for VHs and the Host.Originally Posted by koja6049
If you were really concerned about this issue, you wouldn't ask for a host bonus, as you know what your taking on when you create a guild.
Also the game randomly assigns players to a city if no one wants to or can do GW, so there is no penalty for it not being done.
If you wanted to really give a bonus to being a VH it would have to be purely cosmetic otherwise it would be highly unfair to a majority of players.
Lol ya Randomly assigns.....that is no good as we have different lvls of guilds and players challenging and defending.
I didn't create this guild , I took it over from the host that quit playing , thanks Tynon for another rage/quit player leaving....
I dont think it would be unfair at all, more responsibility should be rewarded , then maybe you would have players actually wanting to get into the VH position even if its just for the bonus, if they cant or wont do the job then get someone else that can.
Ideally this is not a good idea, every one would want to host or be a vice host , but their skills of managing stuff like guild wars , recruiting , leading are out of passion and i don't think we really need a special in game bonus for this. Lets say you are the host and if you are getting benefited your vice host might start thinking about the additional bonus that you get and he would want to host , the drama unfolds and it never ends. this is just one of those millions of drama events. The last we would need on this game.
insteed of giving a reward to the host or vh, giving a reward to say the top 5 people in a guild each day might be good - it could promote the idea of having more guilds and thereby getting more interesting guild wars.
I never said give the Host more bonus then the VH so no drama there, and quite honestly the way Tynon is losing players lately we need something just to keep some of the "semi" active players move active or none of this is going to matter anyway.....
Well i was referring to one of those instances , it can be anyone . Anyways this feature may or may not stop people from quitting. I strongly believe there are other stuff that tynon need to fix which will make it interesting for all players.
Ya I agree with you there....I am going to say this, most Hard core players that quit has been over Metals/stars failing and over Cards/Sancs failing and Not having the gems needed to do some of the slot openings on their gear. I am sure there are a few other reasons but those are the top 3 I can think of. Tynon can do what they like with that info and for those who say "its just part of the game" well its not part of the "game" anymore for those that quit.
