No trick.
Just need to keep on hitting until you recruit him.
Sometimes it takes 5 hits. sometimes 50. sometimes more.
Rest assured he will be recruited in time.

Having the same problem too I have killed him over a month now and not dropping ,3 days ago spent 500+ and still no drop its really crazy.Originally Posted by Jewels

Be careful with Pompey. Roughly 1/3 of your hp is gone after each skill shot of his.
He's very useful as a first or second attacker to quickly take out your opponent's front line heroes.
He dies very quickly after he gets hit by Adam.
And he's a gem in banish events.
really in banish? tell me more - was thinking the all stun with lance (with herja and light spirits) was the trick?
Depends on your setup really.
If you go for the short number of rounds, but big damage, pompey fits in.
(Pompey, Blood, Shayd, Aphro, Leader, Lance)
If you go for the long number of rounds with medium damage, more stunners would be a better choice.
(Herja, Cianna, Shayd, Aphro, Lance, Blood, Leader)
i'm on a newer server - aphro is like 'next year' lol - but thanks for the tips (still its workable we are getting close to killing him in 15mins - 250mil now)
