The whole point we are so pissed at your excuses is because we all like the game.
We are just saddened to see such a bad design team incharge of it, uCool should stick to the Evony type game that dont involve animations.

Hey Dawn ive had a word with my friend Mr Bolt, he is gonna teach you the meaning of 'Sprint'.

I agree and understand the frustrations of everyone and I am also a bit frustrated.

    BUT...

This is not such a simple game to program (period). The changes to add content and add additional events like CW is not trivial.

Now about leaving the game unfinished with teasers such as future level caps being raised, and future gears sets being released... In all the games we have played, there are people who excel and get to the finish line before others. When that happens, such as Diablo 3, WoW, EverQuest, Lineage 2, DAOC, which I have played them all to end game... People are left with doing things such as farming materials, making future gears and elements (in our case gears for 2nd and 3rd backups, and runes for them... etc.

This is an awesome game and the way it is made, there are few other games out there IMO.

One thing I would say, is there can be much MUCH better communication from the DEV team about what is to come. What about a date such as future expansion coming in 2Q of 2014? or something to let us know what to expect? That would be nice. ALSO SUPPORT needs to be added big time. At least for paying customers who are VIP's. They "SHOULD" be given preferential treatment (PERIOD). After all, they are the ones funding this game.

    End of my 2 Cents.

Lets look at the players like BOO who have everything done - They have all quests complete all HR done all their equipment for 6 heroes crafted.

They will fall behind other players like me who are quickly approaching the same point they are at - Otherwise the money they spent on the game becomes pointless, since it was suppose to give them an opportunity to have an advantage over players who spent less.

Tell us what is in the works
Give us an approximate ETA on it
Try to stick to the ETA - If things get delayed - they get delayed - We dont expect perfection

I dont think we are asking too much to be informed of the game plan with approximate ETAs
    This. Amen.

This, exactly this. We're all a tad frustrated, bored, taking up croqueting but and here's the but we either have a fully functioning game by waiting a little longer or we have it yesterday and put up with a minefield of bugs.

As for threads giving us previews that has been done. There was one regarding the last major patch in November. However, because there was a large gap between posting the news and the patch going live it was full of complaints along the lines 'this is taking too long and this thread is just BS to keep us sweet....'. Might be why Tynon aren't in a hurry to present another preview thread. Still it was nice to get a taster of what's coming.

The reason why the are not releasing new content is simple. It has nothing to do with if content is ready. There are two main reasons:

    1) They want to keep players hooked, waiting for more. Even if they released the entire game at once, with Level cap 150, all maps and heroics for Level 110, 120, 130, 140, 150 gear complete, some players will still be able to race to the top. These big coiners will finish the game, get bored, and stop playing. People are investing not into finishing current content, but investing in preparation for future content. Because the nature of future content and the timeframe is uncertain, it actually has the psychological effect of putting players into a hurry building up in anticipation of content that they falsely believe is just around the corner. Thus, they keep playing and keep spending.

    2) They want to put brakes in to give people in new servers a chance to catch up. The way the game is set up, the only chance a new player has is to play on a new server. Existing players also have the incentive to jump to new servers with the hopes that they will have a better chance to grow on new servers. However, if there were no brakes on growth, then earlier servers will get so far ahead that even major coiners will have no chance to start afresh and catch up. There is only one ExecDude. Even if you can start anew on a new server and be the top, what point is there if you will never have a chance to advance in CWF or grow at the rates that even medium sized players on established players manage? New servers mean more players which generates more profit.

These are the real reasons new content is not being released. I'm sure the devs have their own server where they are all level 150 with Level 150 gear and talents at level 200, watching current players fighting in CWF and laughing at their puny formations.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO...
    Dawn said..
They will never stop making new content, meaning there will be no end.
    That Voids your whole point.

    Secondly...
Lets get people playing for 8 months, do a few noob events and let that dude catch them within a month.

To much of life can be bought not enough earnt, the only thing that could only be earnt here was tip upside down at xmas time.
Im a high Vip, im not complaining about coining by no means, just the way the game is going

Edit what Dawn forgot to say is that new content will be added when the game is gathering dust.

This makes sense, if you stop and think about it. Do you really think that our artists can draw an environment as fast as you can run through it? Do you think our programmers can build a boss as quickly as you can fight him? Do you think our writers can conceive a quest as quickly as you can play through it?

We've released a massive amount of content since the game was released. Dozens of new heroes, new zones, new activities, cross-server PvP championships, Ragnarok, etc. And we have no plans to stop. If our pace is not fast enough, then I can say with great confidence that no developer's pace could ever be fast enough.
Can I just say...your writers suck, horrible grammar, tired content, and conflicting stories...hire some new ones lol

Now that i'm not quite as pissed as I was when I first saw this post, here is a bit more coherent of a point.

In regards to your writers. I'm a writer myself, I can put out about 200-300 pages worth of content in a month if it's what i'm paid to do (fairly easily I might add) You're writers in this game have about 20-30 pages of total story content, most of which they just re-use over and over again...plus their grammar and copy-editing skills are non-existent. Seriously, your content writers are terrible and you need to hire new ones.

In regards to your artists. about 75% of the game is continually re-used artistically. The maps are re-used, the bosses are recycled, and all the heroes in animation look exactly the same. I understand it takes time to draw this stuff, but once again I know and work with several artists. They could have put out all the art in this game in about 30 days, easily. If your artists can't do this faster, you need to hire new ones. They are just plainly too slow.

In regards to your programmers. I don't know crap about programming so I can't speak to how well they are doing. I can say that i've played multiple mmo's similar to Tynon and some different, but I can say that every single MMO i've ever played has had much more end-game content and quicker roll-outs for new content upon release. You guys jumped the baal (pun intended) and went live too soon. It's not the end of the world, but you should have been prepared for more. However, don't insult our intelligence and act like you as a development company are producing at a comparable pace to other top notch MMO developers, your just not. I'm ok if you're a bit slower (this is your first MMORPG), but have the baals to admit it.

Finally. Your communication here is just plain awful. I've been a part of the closed and open beta's for both SWTOR and ESO. I also participated in closed and open beta for Alliance Warfare. (mods: I only mention names to show my experience, not promoting them specifically. If you need to remove them that's fine.) All three had devs directly communication, continually updating and provide ETA's and hell even admitting when they got their ETA wrong and had to change it. Never, however, did they do something without telling us before it was going to happen, and guess what...now that the games are live, they still communicate really well. AT Ucool you have a problem with communication. IT was a huge problem in Evony, it's a huge problem here, and i'm assuming it's a huge problem in COE. It doesn't take long to keep your player base up to date and to provide ETA's consistently. Seriously...quit insulting our intelligence and just tell us when you plan to have stuff out, or actually tell us to F-off, because by continually ignoring us you're essentially saying the same thing.

PS. If you do fire your writers (which I think you need to do), I'm available and have some free time.

I have been playing this game since around September; while there is no doubt that you did make some changes, I have noticed a significant lack of quality control, customer service, and an alarming glass ceiling that punishes top players.

Throughout the game there are numerous misspellings and incorrect syntax like "3th" that can be a constant annoyance. In addition, there are numerous glitches like items going missing from inventory, noble lady not giving rewards, baal/cerb saying NOT banished when that is clearly not the case, GW not allowing you to move and attack, unable to disembark pirate ship, and so many more to mention. U ore definitely NOT COOL when it comes to maintaining quality control over your product. Furthermore, we need you to stop promising to TRY and establish better communication from Devs and actually DO IT! We need the Devs to post on the forums and tell us what they are planning for the future, what updates are coming, and when they are coming AHEAD of their release. We need QUALITY content and more events added, so no matter what time players are online they have an event to participate in. Finally, we need these ridiculous level caps removed from talent and blacksmith; I had all three of my talent queues empty for weeks now with nothing to upgrade. The only reason I even login anymore is to participate in Cerb/Baal and GW. Let me make myself quite clear, I DO NOT GIVE A DAMN how much content you released weeks or months before I joined; I care about whether or not you are going to release new content now in the form of maps and quest so I can once again move ahead. If you can't get content fast enough then it just means that you have an incompetent team and bad planning.

I have worked with game designers, software engineers, and artists, so please don't try to feed me this BULL about why the new maps and quests are taking forever to come out.
