for me atleast it isnt about being ranked or copying formations...on my server me and another guy pretty much take turns to be the 1st and we often use very different forms, but i want to beable to go back and see what form i used on some bosses and also checking the other guys forms as i find them very strange and fun at times. (not saying i dont try others formations when im stuck for a long time, just in general i tweak my own forms)

Yes, what you're doing is quite admirable, trying to learn the intricacies of the game's tactics and startegies.
You're of a rare breed though. Most players just want the replays so they can copy them and beat the boss and move on.

Unfortunately I beat Pursuer before the royal arena patch, so my formation there isn't applicable now.

Just beat the heroic bosses on your own.

Don't copy other people's formations.

It's much more fulfilling this way.

You should not make assumptions that what is more fulfilling for you is what is more fulfilling for every one else. Every one is different and what motivates them is also different.

watching the movie of how a heroics boss was defeated only helps partly, because you have no idea how the saints, runes, chips, and equipment is built. I must admit that it does bring a slight tinge of enjoyment when you see your toons name at the top of the movie list. Now if I can ever get it to happen again hahaha.

"working" is relative. no one knows if you spent on it 10, 500, 1k or 10k times to get it, you had 2 lightbringer spirits, he never crits on anyone in your party, etc ... all those are indicators that it took you a long time till you where ready for it and then got lucky beating him once. i first tried to make yours work and the top1 too coz i thought it was genius with flavius, i would have loved to make that work. i couldnt, i wasted 2 days trying. then i put up my own form and on the around 10-15th try (i didnt count, i guesstimated) i got this:


i know what you are thinking "see what happens when you come up with your stuff" ... and yes i always do and i have the pics to show you. you could have watched the clips to it as well, unfortunately they dont show/save them anymore! which brings me to my point: i think its most important to reflect the actual top 3 from the specific server or none.

Watch replay 1-3 of Plaguebringer and Deathknight carefully. They ARE fighting the current boss. Thats why all of them are using the new heroes, like Maria, Herja etc.

ps: look at the clips again, you will see they are NOT all from the same boss. deathnight his cianna and shayd keep the lower HP boss in perma stun and that is IMPOSSIBLE now. i dont understand why you so much fighting against this (in previous posts as well) and i dont understand why its so important to you to be seen on all servers. i am convinced the other lower players on our server could benefit from this and it would give them a chance to catch up faster, but now instead of going with the better choice they will try to beat it for weeks making a copy of yours, focus everything on getting pent to like 80k HP, 2 lightbringer spirits and more when they could beat it much much easier.

I was a skeptic against the new replay system too. If you search the forum, you will see that when I fought against it when they first changed it. However, later on I had found it very useful. Watching replay 2 is how I killed Plaguebringer. In the later Justice bosses, I ended up using totally different forms from all of the replays, yet watching the replays were still useful since they gave me ideas in how to counter/deal with the bosses/mobs and gave me good starting points.

To answer your question, it took me 4 attempts using that form. I failed 2 attempts from Adam dying too early, and failed one attempt because my Queen did get critted on. My Queen only had 72k hp. If you watch the replay, you will see that she was only Saint I at the time. Luckily, her sainting was +15 resilience. This combined with my Level 8 Dex and her natural resilience made it very unlikely for her to be critted on.

I simply watched Replay 2 once, and managed to win within a few minutes using what I already had.

And I believe having 2 LB spirits at that point of the game is easily achievable. Of course, for players that don't enjoy doing labs, they will need to try other forms. Hence, they can watch replay 1.

I noticed in your form you are using King T. How many players on your server has him? I am sure a lot less players have King T than 2 LB sets and a Saint I Queen P. Would they benefit much from your replay?

Couldn't agree more we have clips where players are using Genghis Kahn and to the best of my knowledge nobody on our server has him
