I think the Mods are doing ok. Dawnseeker took some time off and we had a period of time we didn't hear from him. Some of the Mods don't offer much in forum, so it usually falls to 1 or 2.
Some of the players have been extremely rude in their posts. Rants and complaining is filling the pages. If I was a Dev, and the Mods, I would tend to avoid that as it's just tiring reading it constantly.
I'm not saying they are not justified in their gripes, just how it is stated. On the other hand, some of the replies have gotten sarcastic and nearly as bad.

Improvement is needed. More timely communication on game progress, or reasons it's not. Some posts saying simply; "we are reading/aware", whether or not they implement or can/will do anything aside.
The players need to do their part also. This forum is really for and by us, and if we act maturely, responsibly we are much more likely to get a reasonable answer. This will also make it more enjoyable place to come read, post and learn.

Bottom line here; if you really don't like the game, don't play. If you really don't like the forum, don't read it, and don't post. A wise woman told me once, if you have nothing constructive to say, don't say anything.
