Tynon's gem pack prices are far higher because it's a pay-to-win. It's not a cash-shop Nexon game where the customer base is kids with $5-20 to spend on a game once a month. Tynon is not trying to retain customers as much as it is trying to nickel and dime them until the next customer comes along.
I find the whole "game" too primitive to even complain about the prices of gems. But I do wonder whether the game is about to be canceled when I see such high prices. It'd be a shame for all that nice artwork to go to waste.
If Tynon wants a creative developer to come up with a competitive game system and business model who...
* happens to be completing a CS degree & Math minor,
* has played thousands of console and PC titles,
* has played in competitive FPS leagues,
* can write a business plan,
* knows the interactive entertainment market,
* has done game balancing work with actual math,
* AND has the presentation skills to explain it in plain english,
...then Tynon should contact me. It's part-time work that will never appear on my resume, so I don't mind charging a small consultancy fee.
