Drag-n-Drop Auto-Equip during Formation Changes - BUGGED and IRRATIONAL
Someone really needs to go back to the drawing board on the algorithm used to auto-equip heroes moved into formation.
If there is a spare sword/staff (or any equip) anywhere in inventory or on another out of formation hero it really confuses the auto-equip feature to the point where its just miserable play that requires tedious hand manipulation of items from hero to hero. More than once I have gone into PvP after returning from Banish Events or vice versa with a completely naked hero or only partially clad hero due to this bug and silly logic.
This dysfunction especially manifests if swapping out a magic caster for a morale based fighter (or vice versa) since the swords and staffs do not transfer. But that should NOT preempt the rest of the gear (helmet, cloak, chest plate, relic and spirit) from transferring over. The manual recovery from this defect can be treacherous if you have little or no spare inventory to move stuff to and from - especially when stressed to get ready for a Banish event and the clock is ticking down or immediately post-event when you just won the coin and are trying to get re-situated in PvP formations to prevent getting despoiled by the many waiting to nail you with an opportunistic revenge while you have a fat wallet.
Can someone at Tynon put in just a wee bit of more sophisticated auto-equip logic? If the sword or staff can't transfer - move the rest of the gear over and then go find the other single item or let us manually complete it as before. Right now the algorithm seems to do the worst possible thing - equipping only single items if any are present in inventory rather than do the smarter thing and equip a full set or the largest grouped set from the equipment present in an out of formation hero.
Best thing to do would be to give us an explicit "click to equip" from hero list so we drag and drop equip hero-to-hero from the hero screen without having to go through intermediate inventory slots.
