They bet based on who they thing is going to win based on the player's strength and savvy. When the player trows the fight all of that goes out the window and the ones that had bet in the event have a real reason to be upset because they lost tokens that they should have rightfully been theirs.
I could see people being mad about the champ tokens...but honestly they still get some when they lose a bet and it's not like they are losing anything when they lose. Unless they put gems on it....but then that's their fault because it's not worth it to bet gems in CW.

In my opinion, I could care less who threw what in Championship Warfare. There's nothing in the battle rules or the ToS that says it's not allowed. All I really see from what I've read about the situation, Yue was just trying to help out a smaller guild mate. I honestly don't see anything wrong with that, I think it's a decent change to see the top player who's won how many of the CWs? helping out the smaller players.

But that's just me..
