Basically this. You don't want to win, don't enter. It's simple.
It was not outright breaking of the TOS, but it came perilously close to it. It's comes under the 'spirit of the game and how it is intended'. I'm pretty sure Tynon didn't intend CWF to be 'rigged'. Even though the Asia-Pacific final has been highlighted here, it goes for any previous or coming matches rigged.Originally Posted by IraTheSquire_145759
Considering the amount of replies, Dawnseeker is going to read it. I wouldn't be too overconfident that nothings going to happen though (I doubt punishment or anything drastic like that). Take a look at Evony the mass TOS breaking over there was at such a scale people got blatant about it and declared they was as good as Teflon. Now the Evony devs have decided enough is enough and started taking action by introducing IP bans. A lot of butthurt people I can tell you.
Back to Tynon. Since widespread rigging has occurred in Heaven's Palace, I've noticed a distinct drop in the rewards. Complete all 10 Palaces you used to get a gold hero card, now it's usually a purple. If people want to continue to rig CWF, then be prepared for a nerfing of the prizes. I can foresee a lot of people complaining about that if it ever came about.

All those who are complaining just one simple question - did you have any chance of making the finals ?
And to Morgan "spirit of the game" really? on an online game ?
So you agree they did not break any rules and Yue did a nice gesture to help a guild mate out. After all he has used his resources ( time and money) to get to where he is and it is not your call to tell him to sit out CWF.
1 Knocks out 3
2 Knocks out 6
4 Knocks out ?
I quit over this argument , Good luck for next championship Kruize.![]()

I got to the last 8 and I'm rubbish at form and stuff. Go me!! lol
But, if somebody wants to lose on purpose, what does it matter? Its your choice if you want to win or not. Heck, if somebody threw a fight in my guild so I could win it would be great. Guilds promote team work and if your team mate wants to help you, then that's a good thing and an essential part of the game.
So, please can people stop whining about this. I understand the concept of selfishness and promoting ones self, but its not something that I agree with.
Then the devs need to do something about alts 1st. As Kruize said earlier, we see one guy exchange maps with up to 5 alts (server 5) and main account DAILY and he is not the only one by a long way.
Everyone knows about alts and just about every 2nd player has one yet nothing is ever done about it.

Sounds like we need to make sure that guild members face each other sooner. Long before the finals. We're not going to punish Yue since he really did not cheat. It was a ridiculous situation to happen though.

Personally I think setting an example is the only way to ensure people not to play this way.
Also I really feel that letting the top 8 sit out a few runs of CW would be an excellent idea and be good for this balance thing you seem to want.
If you can't win them all, you sure as hell want to win those you can enter...

I disagree with this, if they can both make it to the finals that shouldn't prevent them from being able to fight it out. I just think it needs to be clearly stated that you are not expected to throw a fight and if you do you'll face harsh punishments. Making sure guild members face each other early is not in the spirit of the competition, it prevents the best from advancing as far as they possibly could.
I think another modification we could do is something I suggested back when this was implemented. Have the top 4-8 sit out for the next CW so as to better distribute rewards and increase overall competition within CW.
