the act in itself may or may not have been an act of cheating! it may or may not even be considered to be an act of unsportsmanlike behaviour.....but one thing is for certain....no matter how you dress it up....it's the act of "PUSHING/BOOSTING" another player to boost one guild to the detriment of all other guilds within the affected server. NO! it has absolutely no detrimental effect on my server.....at least not directly! but having said that...it is now pretty much impossible for any player outside of FIRIES guild to break through into top four spots in championship warfare on Asia-Pacific servers. So, to those players who are saying that their actions are ok with you....i'd say you have no sense of ambition other than to be the perpetual whipping dog for members of FIRIES guild. I for one would rather win something on the merit of my own actions, than be given something just because i happen to be in the same guild as the strongest player (i'm not! by the way). Pretty certain the event was titled CHAMPIONSHIP WARFARE...and not CHAMPIONSHIP SHARESIES.

Also, did not realize that you're a lawyer, too. It is not like that players have never sued a MMO company before. Sometimes for reasons more ridiculous than a game not doing its best to make sure the players' money don't get cheated off. And for cases like this, they can win.

Then you should know that even the suit doesn't reach court, it does no good to a company's reputation, right? Especially one with this kind of reputation outside the community.

This is ok, I would just leave the guild for 4 days every 2 weeks. No harm no foul if you want to punish all of the players in the guild of the top players.

AT which point in my statement did i say NIXON did not deserve to be in the final on the merit of his gameplay? He fully deserved his spot in the final..fair and square. That point i never disputed...i was one of the players who he beat en route. MY ISSUE ISN'T WITH WHO MADE THE FINAL!! My concern is with the precedent set by the players once there...championship warfare is already heavily biased towards the players on the oldest servers! why? purely by virtue of the fact...the people playing those servers should be furthest advanced along the paths of progression. It is a competition to find the strongest individual player across multiple servers, and not to the best of my knowledge a competition to find the best guild for sharing the spoils of war :-). the act of sharing wouldn't even be an issue were it not for the fact of what is actually at stake........if the top player wants to share the glory..more power to them, but then make it about bragging rights and not about winning rather useful items for the individual...thats the easy fix...remove all winnable items. As for my statement about it already being difficult to break the dominance of one particular guild within the competition...i stand by it! Again, it's through no fault of the individual players, more a by product of being members of the oldest servers and members of strongest guilds. So! As i said before, if you as an INDIVIDUAL are happy to watch one guild push it's members to the point where only one of its members possibly stands any chance of winning the event, then you must be happy to always be second best at everything. I, on the other hand do not fall into that bracket! I play to win.....ALWAYS! Just doesn't always happen...but it won't ever stop me from wanting to be the best i can be....either here in this game or in life in general :-) Hope this clarifies things for you

Dawnseeker, I understand you think it is a guild members issue.
If I would take myself as an example though, I am good friends with the full top 10 on my server who are in 5 different guilds.
There is a healthy competition there for sure.
However, If one has won 6 CW it is possible that if I face them, they might throw the match also.

I want to say that I don't think that Yue did something wrong.
I find it an example of sportsmanship to let others win after you have won so many.
I think it is better to except that match fixing will happen because we are all friendly with people in this game.
Yue did it in a way that was obvious, but it can be done rather unsuspected too by just removing a rune or 2.
Since we cannot see the formation, it can be easily done without anyone even noticing it.

The problem however is with the betting. Some people feel that they lost out because of it and that a player can inform the guild/server, but not all will know.
For those who bet with gems, I think they have a valid point to be angry since they do represent "real money".
Maybe the betting should only be 1 free bet.
This way the loss you experience is not really a loss, but a gift from Tynon that you could not use to the fullest, but still pays out.
At least in the case discussed it was clear enough after 1 round that he was throwing the match.

It is rather human to feel disadvantaged in my opinion, but it is nicer for yourself if you can change your perspective.
If you have bet gems, it might be good to send in a ticket and see if they do something for you since this was a rather obvious fix.
I hope Ucool will give us a statement on how they will handle this if it happens again.

Dawn's idea of matching up people in the same server earlier isn't bad. In the finals, if they are in the same server, you can test each other's formation using the rankings thing ... I expect this to be a problem in the future.

Edit: hold on... you can do this anyways if it isn't the finals. Not awake yet... but there needs to be a solution to this as well.

I was thinking you could see which heroes they have equipment on, but you're right. They could take them out of formation.
