hmm seems to me you changed your story when what you said is proven wrong. Now its when sirius gear and when more sub slots open.
When that stuff is available its a whole new game any way....even the devs know that, which is why they are slowing progress down.

A little but of sarcasm there, just read in between the lines.

A per-player cap is a notable idea, but a lot, if not all the top-level players and big spenders would complain once this per-player cap has been reached.
Cries for being unfair, a glass ceiling, letting others catch up, etc etc will flood the forums for a long time.

A per-realm cap is a better idea, as what is implemented. It balances realm population with rewards.
The more players in the realm, the more competition, but more fun and more challenges.

You can play in a very active realm in a very active server. You'll gain top guild rewards and bonuses with the amount of contributions made.
You'll experience good camaraderie and socializing with all your guildmates.
But your free rewards from Banish will be harshly fought for, and won't come to you in a silver plate.

You can play in a dead realm on a dead server, and gain a lot from banish.
But there's no one to talk to, no one to compete with, and you'll ultimately be bored out of your wits.
But you get more from Banish since there's no one to compete with.

Why not replace it with gems, tokens, plans, rep and blue/purple medals.

You've already forgotten where players used to get their gold and credits when the banish boss was only at 10m in size.

Buying chests is part of the game model. Why else would they dedicate a separate day of the week for increased chest rewards.

So not sure how continuing to clarify and explain yourself should be taken as sarcasm. If the initial post was sarcastic as herby says, there would not be a need to defend said position.

It seems to me when Herby is called out enough about his posts - he suddenly declares it was all tongue in cheek or sarcasm.

So if it was really sarcasm, and everyone took it seriously as we did, then why continue down that path unless you enjoy just driving us all crazy and upsetting people. Maybe Herby's understanding of the game is not quite as good as we all thought. Because he constantly makes these outrageous statements and back peddles later saying he was being sarcastic after upsetting people and baiting them into more responses on what he claims was a sarcastic statement.

I think until Herby chooses to stop making posts with the clear intention of aggravating people I will ignore his comments in the future. He has derailed this thread enough and taken it off point enough.


The point of this thread was to ask the devs to remove the cap on banish. It is clearly unwanted and unneeded on a 1.25b banish. If they have no desire to ever release the 6.25b banish just say that and remove this silly cap. Competition in the realms caps the top players enough on most servers - even execdude clearly stated in this thread he is getting capped by competition - which shows why we dont need the cap in the first place.

Instead of capping our largest source of income which will cap itself in time, raise bs and talents to 110 so we have more things to spend coins/credits on which in turn could lead to more gem spending on thorsday.
Giving us new content will always spur spending alot more then removing or tweaking current content
