With the cap in place, you are competing for a larger slice of the same pie. This means its inaccurate to say that damage doesn't matter. The more damage you do, the bigger share of the 100m coins you will get.

Yes we know this. you are just posting information many of us have said a thousand times. And what does that matter, it only slows down growth - which I understand you need to do becuase your a small company and can not keep up with the demand for new content, we you loyal players want.
My point is the cap is unneeded if there is no 6.25b banish with a much larger cap of say 500m coins. The players themselves cap how much any one person gets becuase we are competitive and keep powering up. SO as some player powers up the players above them do less damage because of fewer rounds. ANd we can not compensate for this becuase of the glass ceiling and the ridiculously long cool down times and costs.
PLEASE first fix the refresh issue with Banish. This alone will address this issue. People will NOT be able to refresh after going into a round.... which is why they are getting such crazy dmg to start with.
What should be put in place is, if you refresh, you will not be able to join Banish for 5 minutes. That will fix this issue. Remove the cap, and put in place the refresh fix.
Sure they can. Let's say we allow 1 refresh.. then 2nd refresh every 40 seconds... pretty easy to tell who is refreshing each round. Also this puts undue stress on the server when you have tens of people refreshing every round. I bet the servers would run a hell of a lot better if no one refreshed...

Another thing that could be done is instead of 1 minute per fight... it could be 30 seconds + X times [how many rounds] or something like that.... if stunning and refreshing is really an issue. I would prefer they just give a 'skip' function though...
