Changing Name

Im trying to change my name in Forums from the name the game gave me to my name in game. I clicked on the stickied link for name change its asking for my password i didnt start this forum account the game did for me so i tried entering my regular game password and it doesnt work either. I got to the forums by clicking the forum button just above the chat screen in the game and it brought me straight to a pre made one i never had to do anything to start it.

How do i find my password so i can get this done anyone know? It just seems like im runnig in circles trying to figure it out.

there is a problem with this - cant change my own - they will let us know when they have a fix tho, so i guess just keep checking forums for it

mods need to use there tools in the modcp control panel.... Very simple fix. If your using adblock software or do not track your phpsession ID is not getting carried over via async. Clearing your cache and cookies. Goto tynon.com, then forum if it ask you for a password your session cookie is timing out aka async issue.

Edit: Try not entering your password at all before doing the above. Your session cookie will act as your password. Lemme know if this works. Thanks.

Also its not very wise to use your email with random numbers as a forum name. I think it even says that in the vbulletin config and can be changed to something like changeme before you can post.

How about we can't, seriously. This can be only fixed by anyone with admin level access ie Dawnseeker. The numbers are randomly generated by vBulletein so the generic name given to users is made up of their email and whatever the forum software gives them.

To the OP, I know this is annoying. I'm not even sure why we went from being able to choose our forum names to this being locked.
