I still say its a "BUG". The map generation should be purely random or only skewed a bit to one side to encourage more raiding etc.
It would be very nice if we could delete or abandon maps in hand to free up a slot so we can attack. Or offer a parley system where we can trade map sides with anyone for a fee or PvP combat reward etc.
Sometimes I get the impression Tynon does this maliciously to punish the whole server for being uncivil in world chat wars.
I think it's fun when the dock is full of left maps. Makes for a change. Not much going on on my server.
being able to ditch the map means that one guy could prevent the entire server from completing a sail...

It appears to be done in blocks of time. I have notice, for example, that if the maps that you get right after server are Rights then you get mostly Lefts in mid morning, then Rights in mid afternoon and a gain Lefts late in the day.Originally Posted by RiverBummer

This is the trend that I've noticed as well.
That's funny one Dawn. The best city is lvl 6 city here yo get double sailing bonus (20gems per sail)
