tbh I've spent more then that trying to get heroes from 4 to 5 let alone up to 7. Up until yesterday I only had one level 7+ hero.. now I have 6.. and my Adam is 12 the increased medal cost is worth the not having to lose stars

The odds or the programming that apply the odds has not changed, or at least it was not supposed to. Only the cost in medals and not loosing medals when it fails changed. Be fore you were going back so you were loosing stars and that means that you had to get back up. Before the patch I have spent several hundred medals trying to get from 8 to 9 stars. Yesterday I did it with about 40 medals. Big improvement.

A friend on the new server started last week and already got 1 hero up to get moons.
I remember when I started moons were not for buying because it would take ages to get there.
Maybe it has become a little too easy.

I too have wondered if it became a little too easy. Time will tell.

Saw ALOT of 7 and 9 star heroes yesterday.

But my lance refuses to go to 7 and my leader refuses to go to 8 -so Im not sure

Most of those 7 and 9 stars heroes were probably people using up the medals that they had been given as a gift from tynon.

Yes it costs more medals per attempt at the higher levels but you only made less than 8 attempts at 80% fail rate and also you didn't lose any stars as a result of failing. So it is not that implausible that you would still fail a few times going from 6 to 7.

on #103, some people said he was a player who was a victim in a mass shooting somewhere. He died days after the event, that he had supposedly stepped into the line of fire to protect others. As there is no way to verify what was claimed I thought it was laughable that some felt it necessary to petition the devs to construct a memorial. It could be that they investigated deeper and found some way to verify the truth of the claims and then created the memorial.
If I sound callous towards the story, it is with good cause.
The nature of the internet is deception. 2600 baud modems are something I used. I haven't seen it all, but close enough to be suspicious.
I do find it odd that those who told the story in the first place have not repeated it here.

If the story IS true, then R.I.P. Gimli.
