The whole point Herby is that it defeats the whole object of having a 6.25b. You don't gain as a realm so why bother having one.

I'm not against the cap (it's good thing) but it should reflect the boss, that's all. The general opinion in my guild is defeating that 6.25b was a waste of time and that comment was made by everybody, not just the top 10. You can still slow player growth with a reasonable cap.

    Indeed Morgan.

Don't you get what is being subtly implied here...

No one said the bigger the banish the better it will be.

If you want better rewards, branch out across the realms.

Are you referring to changing realms to maximize your banish damage? We've been doing that on server 1 for a while now. I've been to each realm, some twice, over the life of the game to maximize mine.

    That is one technique, yes.

I suggested it to Morgan in my post.

Not an option for me, I'm a host and leaving my guild for my personal needs aren't something I'll consider. However, you make a fair point.

Host's are held back from changing realms, unfortunately. One of the many costs of being a host I suppose.

It's the only good technique I can think of, maybe you could enlighten us on others?

That defeats the purpose of a social aspect within the game. If a group of people start the server together, within the same realm, work together really well, work hard, and then get all their rewards nerfed because they have done well, how is the problem with them being together? Why should they have to then split up their group to maintain progress? If that is what Tynon is trying to do, they are moving towards a very dead game, very quickly. The only thing really holding this game together at this point is the social aspect, because to be honest, the rest is dead boring and monotonous.

I am having so much fun seeing the frustration people are having over the 6.25b banish.

Now moragan you say your asking for the cap to be proportional to the damage

Well the hp of the banish increases 5 times so the rewards would have to increase 5 times to a 500m coin cap.

Otherwise its a waste of time.

I said this a while ago. Noone wanted to listen. The cap cant be a good thing and you want it increased on the 6.25b banish. Thats having your cake and eating it to.

SO either deal with the fact a 6.25b banish is USELESS
    or
get on my band wagon and ask for the cap to be completely removed BECAUSE IT IS REALLY NOT NEEDED. The players themselves will cap the damage any one player can obtain.

Also I think there is an aspect of this cap we are missing to understand the whole reason it was put in place.

They could have just changed so there was an individual cap, but instead they made the cap for a realm. If the cap was say 25m or 30m coins per player I think we would all be looking at this differently. But they made it so 1 player could conceivably earn all 100m coins. I find this interesting. Granted it may have been easier to program this way so they went with that. BUt I think there may be more to the story than any of us have thought of. uCool is seeing the data from all servers. And lets admit it theres huge differences between the servers at this point. SO I think this cap does something that may have unintended consequences on some servers while is beneficial in uCool's view for the majority of servers

Matt you need to understand if they remove the cap everyone will jsut move to one realm and try to trigger the 6.25b banish and all the server megers coming up will be pointless. Very few servers outside the top 10 have even triggered the 1.25b banish and if they are close to triggering the 6.25b banish the devs want them to spread over other realms to make the game more fun for all.
