King Thesus, Lance, and General Alcibiades

Talk about confusing...lol. Anyway, I have got Lance as my substitute and have been using Gen. Alcib as my front row tank and does pretty good. I just got King Thesus and am wondering whether to use him in place of Lance in the sub spot, or use King in place of Alcib. I am using me(archer), Blood, Adam, and either Queen Bryn or Mulan as my mage, while Lance, as I said is in the sub spot. Any ideas on the best combination..mostly for Bosses in heroic realm and quest bosses. With PvP I am okay and still use Shayd, Calvin , and Cianna for Cerb/Baal. Any opinions? Thanks!

There is no perfect formation, especially when each event requires a new set of heroes.
There is no prefect formation for HR either, Though Queen Pent with Maria seems to be useful in the later bosses.
For PvP applications, and answering your question about Theseus, I would suggest NOT putting him in as sub only because you want his crit bonus to work right out of the gate. When you use heavy damage heroes as front row tanks, they need to be heavily sainted with defensive and HP saints, and are still not as effective as a Saffron or Nekhbet is. Lance is not a great PvP hero in my opinion. He is great for banish though. Queen Bryn is not reliable enough for me. Mulan is my girl. Her skill is awesome and cannot be blocked by any tanks, etc. General Alc is a great hero when your opponent is using a 3 wide formation. If they aren't, there are better heroes to use.

I love Alci, but as said above, he is most effective against wide spread formations.
Also he does well against the fourth boss in Lab due to his damage and mag resistance for me.
At the moment I use KingT because most seem to line their heroes behind each other.
With Rhize in the other row I can get to the back line easier.

Alci is a beast.

He is much better than Rhize by 100% just based on his hit formation and built in skills of +10 to all and magic resistance. Once Sirus set comes out .. he will be one of the top heros used in CW.

I don't think Sirius plans will be available through the normal means.

A complete Sirius Set is just too powerful imho.

I'm seeing Sirius plans randomly being offered as rewards for tournaments or for new types of challenges.

I think a multiplayer-themed dungeon type tower challenge would be a good candidate.

tell me about it on beta there a few with the complete set of sirius and they are just Monsters !!

It will also make Herja useless and potentially Calvin more powerful. Imagine losing all of your morale and Calvin hits every time.

Also this makes Mages a bit unbalanced. Advantage of not needing Morale for mages are also negated.
So with Sirs plans, they need to rethink the whole game balance... or cap morale retention at 95% and add something else to Sirus set such as "Resilience"

King is a good choice for PVP. if he has high lvl spirit and advantage rune, he will be a monster .
Alci and Lance are the same , not really powerful , but great for private events .
and there is no perfect formation .

The thing about Sirus plans, is that they make the purple heros more powerful than gold heros. de Luc will be over powered when he skills every turn. Same with Hemobed when he hits twice. Flav will hit every turn.. etc. So they need to do something about upping the innate resistance on heros like Kahn as their morale retention gets thrown out the window.

I agree. With 100% retention Sirius will completely destroy the game. The ones that have it will dominate. It will make the gap between coiners and non coiners even greater.
