No. We want to see the players stay in the game so we do not end up with dead servers.

What a remark. Heaven's Palace, if you left in the top players on ea realm on our server, hardly anyone would make it past Obsidian level. And most won't make it past Wood. Now that seems hardly worth going in, simply too exclusive. I see no reason we can't help it to be what it originally was meant to be; a test to see how you compare (and win some prizes). But when the top player is well over 200m, with all 1st and 2nds at +100m, well not many can get far.

So its meant to be a test to see how you compare yet you have to rig it to see how you compare. Makes total sense to me. And on server 1 all our top 2 takes HP without powering down. SOme of us are in banish form, some of us are in odd forms some of us are in PvP form. Usually 2-4 players on the server get 100 points, #10 on the leader board is usually around 79 points.

Plenty of people get through 3-4 levels of it then can not go further, plenty get through 5-7 levels. Noone complains that its not fair becuase boo is 213m power and krm and spec are close to 200m power etc. You get free coins credits rep and a flip. I Do not see why everyone on other servers expect to be able to get 100. YOu may think your are helping the smaller players, but your taking away challenges for them, and you are not letting them really TEST themselves to see how they REALLY compare. Trying to find a way to 100 is about the only PvE challenge I have at this point.

WOuld I love it if Boo used a different form then his usual one for HP? Yes...cuz he is the only person on the server I havent found a way to win at least occasionally in PvP. But I dont want him to hand me the 100th point on a silver platter. I dont want him to step down for HP or use his banish form, or power down, just move thesus back one spot in the row. Its the only challenge some of us even get in teh game at this point. SO a player cant get more then 29 points this week. Now they can work to build to get to 39 the next week or so. Powering down the entire HP intentionally to let most of the server run the palace is the same as asking them to just power down all the bosses to make the game easier so more people play it.

I mean Im on server 1 and we like what we got going. Other servers want to power down and do strange things in HP let them, I just think its strange to do.

It is all fine when you have a good player pop in your server but when you have around 10 active players in the server and are desperate to keep those 10 you have to find ways to do so. They have to have a sense of achievement for player to continue playing. We don't power down for Hp but the few top players make sure we are not in the top 5 of arena a day before. Cannot remember the last time I was in the top 5 of arena and my power is more than twice than any in my server. So it is not all about winning all the time, at times it is to lend a helping hand to others so everyone can enjoy the game.

well i did all of that and it didnt work. from after baal till rag i had my formation set for palace for the last fight in the arena and didnt have any fights while in a different formation for rag. after rag was over i set up my heaven palace formation and redid the fights in the arena. and no fights till reset. but for palace i had that formation that i had during rag, there there was no fights in the arena with it.

i have not this weekend, but the next weekend to figure it out or we're screwed (the guild im in)

I did some testing last Friday. The test are a bit inconclusive and I am planing to do some more. The test involved bringing a player up to 1st powered down and then doing several things like being attacked and attacking and wining and loosing. The equipment and runes were not change so the power levels remained the same. The position of the hero on the grid was changed each time. From this limited testing, on a hero player that coming up to 1st or 2nd it looks like the formation is the last battle that is won, and not just the last battle.

Next I am going to do some testing where the power level changes to see if that affects the result.

well what i did was after moving people into the top 4. we would attack each other. we all got atleast 1 win in our powered down formation. the other 3 had just their main without gear or runes. i did the same but put a gearless and runeless blue hero in my formation as just a joke hero. my power didnt go up much. we all powered back up for rag and gws and sent out a guild mail saying not to attack the top 4 at any time. but even after all that it still used our formations from either rag/gws or before we powered down and attacked each other in the arena.

both me and the host that was in the top 4 has access to the other 2 in the top 4. so we know 100% that they were attacked by only the others in the top 4. and its very easy to put them in the top 4 since just myself and the host can move them up into position and be prepared for the palace.

as for this weekend we're moving 4 different people up from around rank 10. so even if the power down fails, they will still be weaker than what it would be if we had last weeks top 4.

In order for the form used in the arena to stick, you have to change a spot. An example of how to set HP. #1 in arena strips 100% off runes and equip and has only main in form. #2 and #3 also do the same. Number 4 strips to power amount just above #1's power amount. #4 hits number 1 taking first spot in arena. Number 4 now completely strips. The original #1 now in fourth, attacks 3rd, 2nd and 1st. They have all now moved position. Top 4 is set. Everyone can get dressed and as long as no one in the top 4 or anyone from outside the top 4 hit them, HP is set with stripped main and all players on the server should be able to gain the 100 kills. The players in the arena top 4 nor anyone outside of top 4 can fight the top 4, AT ALL, until the reset happens.

This arena shuffle can happen at different times, and can be done with someone outside of the top 4. As long as whomever remains in the top 4 has fought and moved positions stripped. This goes for setting your formation. Your formation is set when you fight in arena and MOVE a position. The arena can be set at any time during the day until the reset happens for HP.

As for the argument of whether this is good to do or not. I think it keeps the morale of the lower players. Since the top players finish top 3 in world boss fights and gain the most loot from arena, the completion of HP for them helps. We used to drop the top 4 out and moved the lowest power players into the top 4 as possible before arena ranking rewards were given on Friday. This gave a good chunk of loot to lower players. But that took coordination of many players and a fair bit of time for some players to get done.

Biggest note: Now you can practice on anyone on your server through rankings, you can learn better forms and rune sets that way. And these credit your daily revenge/fight in wild.
