Mulan Pro's and Con's or Opinions

I have not seen many people using Mulan in CWF, and she is doing quite well for me. What is everyone's opinion of her? How would you rank her skill? How would you use her and in what circumstance?

Her Flame Wall attack cannot be blocked, and with high enough gear and runes she can deal out considerable damage.

    Thanks for your input.

Once you get a level 99 staff and level 99 spirit on her, she becomes a powerhouse.
The fact that most people neglect magic defense makes Mulan a Dark Horse in pvp battles.

Mulan can't be hit by Flavius.
Also, most players focus on physical and skill defense, and neglect magic defense.

Seems most top players have around same magic defense as the other defenses.

Third Eye talent inherently gives more magic defense than the other two defense talents raise the other two defenses.

Also, the damage coefficient for Wall of Flame seems to be a little lower than that of Ascension, and much lower than Piercing Thrust.

Way I see it, Mulan is a poor man's Theseus, and once we have Sirius spirits, Theseus will only be a poor man's Rhize.
The extra crit chance does not make up for the 2.5 times higher damage coefficient of piercing thrust vs ascension.

Only saving grace for Mulan is that she can harm Saffron and Ahmose more while striking the targets behind Ahmose, which isn't much benefit considering the main purpose of row-hitting skills is to hit things behind the tank, not damage the tank.

Yes, Mulan can avoid that 8-10k damage per round from Flav, but you are forgetting that she inherently will take about 10-15 more damage from Adam than either King T or Rhize.

I think your focusing on the negative things a bit much here. At this point in the game, a well built Mulan seems to pay off quite well and may also in the future. If you don't have a large amount of magic attack, then maybe she isn't for you. I also Have K.Theseus built and still use Mulan much of the time.

    Thanks for your input.

Personally I think Sirius sets won't be as common as we all predict to be.

I have a feeling Sirius items will not be available in Heroic realms like all the other sets.

The Skill attack each round bonus is just too OP. I don't think anyone will refute this.

I'm predicting something like a new type of "labyrinth" where randomly-dropped individual Sirius plans are the prizes.

A team event where the 5 heroes are made up of the leaders of 5 different players would be quite interesting and fun.

Herby, don't make any more, "predictions," because all too often somehow your, "predictions," turn out to be true lol.

But apparently there will be DragonScale items too.
And who knows, maybe 1 more set after that?
As of now, morale retention of as high as 135 would still be meaningful and offer an advantage.

Every CWF except the current one, I had Mulan in my lineup somewhere.

Previously, after experimenting with both Mulan, Queen Bryn, and Shayd, I concluded that Mulan was the most useful mage, except for possibly Aphrodite, which I don't have.

Yet the whole time, I was wishing I had an extra sword at the same level as her staff so I could toss in Rhize or King T once I unlock him.

However, this time I tested out Maria in CWF coming in as a sub, and I was rather pleasant surprised and managed to defeat a few opponents near double my power. She isn't as consistent as Mulan, but much more so than Queen Bryn. Every time she was able to heal my Ahmose, I ended up winning the fight, even against people more than double my power.

    Lol

I remember a thread where I said that Queen Bryn will become a staple in CWF. A lot of people ridiculed me, but look at Queen Bryn now.

I remember saying Maria is going to be a game-breaker for CWF. A lot of people still don't believe me and say Maria sucks

Yep, apparently you also, "predicted," Mulan into existence lol.

So, have you tried using Mulan in CWF, and how would you rate her effectiveness compared to Queen Bryn in the mage slot or Rhize and King T in the row-hitting role?

I like Mulan, and I will test her out this week.
I will use Mulan in my level 90+ toon I play on a mid-range server.

I'm building up a second staff for her, while I still don't have Aphrodite.
My first level 99 staff is on my Maria / Shayd whom I use for CWF / Banish.
