there are countries where $5 is a lot of money. not everyone can afford it willy nilly. a heads up when they make maria available would be greatly appreciated by these players in these countries, as they can then budget and plan around buying her if they wanted. but to just put her there, for a week only, is unfair to some players who really want to buy her, but just can not afford it at that moment.

I think fairness inherently stems from equal opportunity, everyone has an equal chance to purchase Maria as far as the game is concerned. External SES isn't within Ucools control or knowledge and therefor they should not be expected to take it into account. they provide the chance for everyone to buy her for an equal amount of time. If you cannot save up 5$ in a week, then perhaps you shouldn't be spending money or time on an online game to begin with.

clearly you don't know much about stuff in other countries. so rather don't tell people what they should and shouldn't be doing. some people live by a budget, if that x amount of money isnt part of that week's spending, being american or not, it won't be used.

If you want to know what country Im from Im from South Africa and it is an incredibly difficult country to live in
Same with Greenly ... It is NOT easy living in this country and nearly all people live on a difficult budget where they can buy things the want

$5 can be saved in the matter of a few days for most people. Maybe not all. If you cannot save $5 in a few days, maybe you shouldn't be home playing games in the first place? I dunno. People have their reasons, conditions, etc I suppose. Either way, I thought 7 days to buy a hero was a decent time period. Maybe a it longer would help.

In a country like South Africa it is extremely difficult because of the inflation which keeps getting higher at ridiculous rates
For example $1 is equivalent to R10.80 and that is beyond high
Petrol or Fuel costs $1.34 converted from our rates of petrol which cost around R14.50 ... Now X 80 litres ... that A LOT of money and were doing this every week maybe sometimes twice. This is just a mere example of one of the things that almost eat our banks whole. This country is so flipping corrupt and use money to upgrade security on their homes and we getting nothing bac only having to PAY MORE is very frustrating.
This is why I ask for there to be a bit more fairness in this game
DONT make us pay real money RATHER make us earns gems within the game and pay something like 300 gems for Maria (Just part of the example)

I think there are a lot of countries all around the World that have austerity issues. However, the last time I looked this was a games forum not a World Economics debate. Incidentally, I have played with some guys from SA who haven't complained about the relative cost of Maria. Buy Maria or don't it's that simple.

IF we are talking about conversions and pain in buying Maria , i would like to use Maria in my formation but since its a choice that either i buy it to use it or forget it , i chose to forget it because its simple i don't want to buy it on a side note i am VIP 6 means i am spending. The conversion rate for $1 in my country is 63.5 Rs. so to get maria i have to spend $5 = 317.5/- Which is really high ? Lets not fight over this , when its a choice you got to choose which is best for you and you can't force the game to change according to your needs.

As a Tynon player, owning a personal computer, and having a certain degree of literacy and lifestyle.. no matter where you are in the world, I'm pretty sure you've spent more money on food, transportation, electricity, and water in 1 day (unless you get them all for free), than you'd be paying for Maria.

And in certain countries where the majority of Tynon players come from, Maria's cost is about the same as 1 cup of coffee, or 2 donuts, or a burger meal...

Think more it was the time frame she came out on? it was Christmas if i'm not mistaken - we had many players off on holiday/with family/traveling and missed the opportunity to buy her. Having her be available for a 'new' promotion? like a Easter - St Pats etc would be cool for those that didn't get her earlier.

She was available for one week from the time you logged on next after she was introduced. This allowed people that were off for the holidays the same opportunity as any one else.

I do agree that having Maria available only by purchasing her with real currency sets a dangerous precedence. This is the first "item" that is only available that way. The newbie package included Alexa and VIP 5 includes Dawnseek, but they are also available in the game without having to buy them. The same is true for all of the "items" that you get from the different VIP levels. There are some game function that are only available by purchasing VIL levels, but those are not "items".
