I do agree that having Maria available only by purchasing her with real currency sets a dangerous precedence. This is the first "item" that is only available that way. The newbie package included Alexa and VIP 5 includes Dawnseeker, but they are also available in the game without having to buy them. The same is true for all of the "items" that you get from the different VIP levels. There are some game function that are only available by purchasing VIL levels, but those are not "items".

As i Jumped on this myself didn't see what you said as the way they put the package out - my bad. you are correct Andy - and it was way dif than the other vip or game options.

If you cannot save up 5$ in a week, then perhaps you shouldn't be spending money or time on an online game to begin with.

Same with Greenly ... It is NOT easy living in this country and nearly all people live on a difficult budget where they can buy things the want
So best you shut the help up and starting keeping your business to yourself

I think the 2 of you need to read my post a couple more times. 1. i'm incredibly away of the world as a whole, I write commentaries on it quite often. I spoke from an extremely informed position and one for the world as a whole. 2. my post was in relation to fairness within the game. As all were presented with the same opportunity, it was fair. It is not Tynon's responsibility to cater their gaming model specifically to every SES environment in the world.

I believe my point has all the more validity with the information you've provided. If inflation is to the point where everything costs that much, then perhaps you shouldn't be spending $5 or 60 rubels, etc. on the game anyway. If your weekly budgets are that tight, then i would suggest not spending money on an online game...perhaps it would better be used by saving it up.

Personally I live on a very tight budget, every dollar, ever day is accounted for, however, I never stretch myself too thin. A large portion of that accounted money is set aside in savings even though it makes everything that much tighter, even eating things such as ramen/rice for days at a time, even while saving a few hundred a week. I do this so that i can be prepared in the event of needing it.

Herby put it best when he said that all of us arguing here obviously have access to internet, an updated computer, and a home to play it in, so we could all manage to set aside the $5 if we really wanted to. Next time ask yourself: If my first response to someones argument is to try and debase the person themselves, perhaps my POV isn't that valid in the first place.

for someone claiming to know the world, you couldnt take the 5 seconds it required to use your internet to at least name correct currency for South Africa? it surely IS NOT Rubels.

next, i never complained about maria being for sale, i myself bought her. what i asked is that they just extend the time she is available or just give us a little heads up, so that people who do budget, can be prepared to buy her when she comes along again. sometimes it is hard even if you budget, when other life stuff happen and you need to use the money you set aside for other matters. so i really don't think it is unreasonable to ask for more time or a heads up.

If $5 is a lot of money why pay for internet and play a game when you could spend that time working making MONEY lol.
