    SO

Tynon took it out after a few days.
They can have the OK button fade away after a few seconds this way players who are on auto and afk won't have to suffer either.

    +1 on the result button

to the ones in doubt: it doesnt cut off your penalty/CD timer on death and it appears to be in game before and from what i understand but was removed because it was faulty or not working properly.
currently i do 1-5% damage per entry. all rounds over 1.2% i have a longer battletime than the penalty is. so after the round is done i run up the hill immediately without downtime (because it was done while inside) resulting into fewer rounds for the top players. last time i checked without restarting i would do 5-6 attacks less than everyone else because it forces me to stare at the same fighting sequence over and over.

so, i have to watch carefully how much damage i do and then refresh browser after entry. when i then come back into the game the timer is still ticking and usually down to 30-40sec when i return just as it is for you now. so i just hang out the remaining 30 sec on the hill and then run up with the auto function.
now i am not sure why some think they would be bothered if we dont have to refresh 20-30 times per banish anymore but to the ones who do actual damage it would help a lot!

Hope some thing of this sort would solve the issue.
What game is that? I think its about time I try out a new game.

Battle animations are or were (I don't watch Ragnarok anymore) sped up by x2 or x4 speed to fit in the allotted time period. This would work perfect for banish, and the technology is there, it just needs to be implemented.

[Slightly off topic] There is something else to consider here. Battle animations put a strain on the server. By having an option to bypass them the server load will decrease. They should have an option in Rag to bypass the animations. What is the point of having them if most of the players are not watching them?

    PUT IT BACK.

Who ever complains, ban their accounts.

    Thanks

    This would work.

I have no problem with instant results, as long as it doesn't completely paralyze those who have to leave for work (or AFK) in the middle of the Cerb/Baal fight.

    Actually you're wrong here Andy.

Battle animations are all played out in the client, in the Flash player.

Battle animations stress the client's computer, not the server.

All the server does is send/receive information from the client.

You are absolutely right. I stand corrected. Now having said that, all those wasted cycles means that there are fewer cycles that I can give to Cancer Research. They use the spare cycles in my computer through the IBM Word Community Grid.

Ditto, no animations option on Lab also... just a life percentage monitor. Thank you.
