OK tip; if you have empty rune slots, use max for synergy, then move your rune to 1 slot and merge then hit combine all. That way you don't lose the 1 from having your rune in a slot 1st. (probably already figured this out) lol but put here anyway
Edit: apparently it has a max you can do. I think it was 10 times max, then stopped for me. Still that was much faster than the old way, got an 11 to nearly a 12. (in minutes, not hours) yay

I agree and that doesnt really bother me, since my mind was starting to become Zomiefied in rune temple making lvl11 and 12 runes. But cant they let us know whiether we will be needing "frags" later on or are they dead? If they are indeed "dead" then I will use Synergia eveytime , some info on this would be great....Dawn?
I guess i should add that I have about 2000 frags stacked atm, and dont need anymore doubles , do I keep doing runes the old way and keep stacking frags or do it the new way and regain some sort of sanity ......will we need frags later on for new types of runes is what i want to know.

Look i you havent collected 2400 total frags since you started. Then you probably want to spin runes the old way until you have to collect frags. Otherwise just buy synergia for now. If youonly have a few hundred thousand coins or less it doesnt take long to spin the coins. I can spin 1m coins a minute on average. So if you dont have 600k saved up its just about as fast to spin as it is to buy synergia. If your trying to level runes above 10 synergia is a million times faster and gives you a very good return for investment.

why even 300k or so I think even that a lot it should be for 100 coin you get 0.2xp

I do not get rid of anything anymore if I can help it. I sold 10 Calvin and 8 Alexa cards one week before the patched that allowed transfers. There has been a lot of requests for new runes, like a new combo rune for Mages that combines Magic Attack and Hit Rating. I would not be surprised if something like that is offered in the future. Please note the disclaimer at the bottom of the post.

Forgot to mention, if you do not roll runes, you will not get any yellow runes... which means you now have to spend the fragments to buy them... which should mean, we should get proper fragments as we use Synergia.
