Server Mergers: March 4, 2014

Tynon should be focused on cross server events with other game publishers, this is a huge mistake they are making. R2Games, AeriaGames, and many other game publishers pickup games such as wartune, league of angels, crystal saga, and etc. This is exactly what Tynon should be doing in order to survive the online browser based game wars.

With that said server merges should have been going on long before now!

Look at myspace. A social network, In its prime had 500m users. They got a ego! They didnt listen to there fan base. Adhere tynon. You can be replaced by the next company ready to do what your not and thats keeping the players wanting more! If i was the ceo and looked at this forum I would say what is the problem with server merges? Is it a nameserver issue? If you guys need an IT Guy who can run 50 apache process on a gigE pipe lemme know. Facebook got where its at by listening.... When i was a dev at pogo crontab http to refresh dumping memory to free up server mem. Better load averages. Faster loading. Etc.

So what about the rest of us who haven't got a merge? When i sent in a ticket after the lucky ones got merged they told me more would come soon. Well its not "soon" any more so, whats going on? Are the rest of us just SOL or what?

LMAO suspend me again if you like for saying this, but OMG...really? you have dead servers everywhere. People are begging for mergers and your really opening a new server????? LOL pitiful

We got notice of server merges but I don't think any have been done that was on that list. I know s45 was skipped over and its just as dead as the other servers. I think due to the lack of response on this thread it should tell us gamers something. Seriously what Tynon needs is cross server (r2games and etc) because that is the only thing that will bring in fresh new players. Doing server merges is fine but it wont correct the problem of dead severs.

IE: Take server X that has 20 people who own 100 alts and server Y that has 20 people that have 100 alts - you still have the same problem because the same people are fighting each other with Alts.

Now this is where i am going to speak up on this, my server is falling there are really only 4 active guilds that are not alt guilds (mine being one of them) and every active guild is going to the most powerful guild in the next 2 weeks there will only be one guild and those players and their alts will be the only active ones. A few others and i are going to be leaving this game completely and being that most of us cash a decent amount so you will be losing your precious money of course now that i think of it, it seems you only care about money and not players i loved this game when i first started but now that my server is pretty much a dead server it is pointless for me to play more.

karmen, When they add a new server, There really adding a new background process. Adding a new entry into the nameserver aka vhost ie. 129.tynon.com etc. 130.tynon.com they all resolve to the same IP. There trying to get more bang for there buck because all the other servers are dead and not using bandwidth or memory. So really they could launch a new server everyday because it only takes nameserver 2 hours to send it global. here lemme give you some free advice tynon. Nameserver entry 17.tynon point to 19.tynon.com AAA Record 216* AAA Record 1*tynon.com AAA tynon.com there you go, Global Server Merge.

It seems you did not bother to read what the PLAYERS are saying and I guess its obvious Tynon has not either. I have been online for over 20 years in website development and marketing so I understand what you are saying but the avg gamer DON'T CARE. What they care about is getting "VALUE" for the money they have spent and getting entertained for the "TIME" they have spent. These servers are dead and many are leaving, so while opening a new server looks as if it is giving Tynon more bang for there buck - They wont be able to afford it if nobody pays. This is the entire point the players are making - It is getting boring with dead servers filled with nothing but alts and drama filled ego-centric idiots that create 50 alts just to hold cities from all other guilds. Popularity of Tynon is falling fast while other games recently released are fast becoming the #1 browser games online.

The players have spoken, only thing left now is - WILL TYNON LISTEN ?

To answer your question... NO! They will NOT listen to the players. They do not care about anything we say.. All they care about is money, but then again if they don't listen they're going to fall..HARD. They're already beat by League Of Angels. Tynon is quickly becoming obsolete. Oh by the way.. League Of Angels came out long after Tynon... So, that tells you something.. TYNON GET WITH THE PROGRAM! PLEASE!

I agree to a certain point that they care about money, this is a business after all.

What is surprising is that the players are being ignored and that includes those that pay the bills for Tynon. It gets even worse when a mod send you an email and tell you to remove the image from your signature that is PUSHING Tynon. Let's face it Tynon needs all the "FREE" advertising they can get. I removed the image though because I guess the mod did not really bother to read or see the website or has no clue as to what "FREE" advertising is for a company that depends upon players to pay money to survive.

League Of Angels has not been in full swing for a year yet and their popularity is 10 fold what Tynon's is. The fact that they listen to players and build cross server relationships with other game publishers is what will keep LOA strong for several years to come.
