I have been off Eye of Horus server since before The Mergers began. Because I got tired of the Dominate Guild. I just tried logging on and was directed to create a Character screen. My character on that server was VIP 4 and Lv 65. Has anyone else lost their characters and if so how do you get them back. It should be on server Archive.
Contact support would be your best bet. On Tynon.com main site click on support and submit a ticket.

Nope there probably wont be anymore merges... I don't think they need to merge any servers anyway... I think what they need to do is shut down Tynon forever... since they don't know how to run it.. The Tynon staff is just a room full of monkies pushing random buttons on the keyboard. They don't know what they're doing..
Yeah right... contacting support will get you nowhere.. All they're going to do is send you a standard email that says they're forwarding your case to someone in that specific department blah blah blah... In other words they're saying, "We don't really care about anything you say or want, we just want your money. Now leave us alone."
If ucool didn't have at least some idea of what they were doing they would have gone out of business a long time ago. I've generally had a positive experience with the Customer Service staff so honestly I don't understand the negativity towards them.
There are different responses from customer service. Reports of legal infringement (such as intellectual property) - very serious and very fast responses. Billing errors get fixed, but may take some time. Reports of cheating? Tynon needs irrefutable proof they could take to court. Glitches get placed on someone's to-do list with variable response time based on priority.
Alts are especially tough to deal with. I know a player on one server with six kids. Each teen has their own account, taking turns on the family computers. How do you tell the difference between a family playing a game and one player faking six accounts? Not really possible, especially if a parent wants to monitor their teen's online activity.
Returning to the question at hand, character data from before a server merger should be archived. Main screen and customer service should be the way to go.
Hint - if there are 20-50 players with only one hero, few or no runes, little or no equipment and big (massive) bank (coin, cred) and all named sequentially (ie: gg01, gg02, gg03......)........
I was in 1st guild until the merger, now with the new "uber" guild and all the alt guilds, I left to try and even the playing field.I'll chime in once again, merged servers 64/68/73. The alt-guilds are now taking over guild warfare. We have one very powerful guild (1st), who have numerous "alt-guilds". These alt-guilds are full (>30-50) of alts and have plenty of guild funds. Now, in order to make guild warfare even more boring, and to increase the cash/coin of their alts, the alt-guilds are making very high bids on gw in order to stop other guilds (yes, real guilds with real players) from playing GW.
So, yes, there is a major problem with the 64/68/73..... Possibly other merged servers as well.
Which is why the alt guilds are bidding so high, because they know they will lose cities to the new guild I am in.
The alt guilds being A1R, started and run by Emily_b, Yes guild, run by Alexandra, Trojen and Dreadheart guilds run by Buffer.
So unless a new merger with other servers that contain other "uber" guilds occur, the alt guilds are going to hold the power, and not the powerful guilds at all.

If two servers get merged and you have accounts on both servers what happens? Does one just get deleted and nothing else?
You keep both accounts. You can log into each account in the same manner as you used to do.
