When it comes to spending gems, I can think of no case where it doesn't have a confirm box of one sort or another come up. Yes, you can opt to disable it, but you see it at least once. So, spending by an accidential click is not the fault of the game - it's not paying attention to what's being displayed.

I disagree. There are still some places. I can not remember where and I do not want to try, I lost 2000 (yes 2k) gems once because the quick merge option in the blacksmith had no warning.
