One day people will learn that Wikipedia is not a reliable source for accurate information. Also that link refers to one of uCool's other games, Evony. So I'm not sure what relevance it has here.
That said, you can play the game or don't. Every time you shuffle the cards in the Tavern, Labyrinth or wherever, the game will pick the card it'll award you as soon as you click. There is no hidden pitfalls, it is what it is.

The point is, ACCIDENTAL SPENDING IS INTENTIONALLY DESIGNED INTO THE GAME. That's why the screen is so cluttered with icons.
The jewel chips are another area that needs attention.
it RARELY displays them in rank order. No matter what YOU are trying to accomplish the game SUGGESTS what you should do.
I am merging level 1's. It thinks I should merge level 3's.
Have you accidently merged chips? I have. I was pissed. I merged Level 4 obs into a level 5. I needed the 4's.
An error like that is a HUGE setback and I still feel the loss. It IS DESIGNED to do that. The devs want me to buy more gems to cover my mistake.
What do you think the odds are of them correcting that? Slim to none?
Gorgon
you must be half blind or something to merge chips by mistake. You first have to click or merge then on the chip level and then on merge again so nothing like this happens to normal players. Neither have I accidentally even spent gems in teh game except for once in the fair everytime oyu go to spend gems it will ask oyu for a confirmation.
Not sure what you are talking about here. If you go to Blacksmith -> Merge, the chips are sorted by rank. You can sort your inventory with Sort All. If you don't, they will appear in the order you acquired them, of course.
If you needed the lvl4 Obsidian chips, why not embed them as you acquire them? Then you wouldn't have 5 chips lying around that you would merge by accident.
Also, you must be merging chips in a way that I don't know about or something, because I've never had an issue with merging chips by accident or have any issue with how they are presented.
