I think that we could all benefit from a new type of arena where players can go in and fight.
It would be for 10% of what your holding same as wild.
Put it in assistant and make it extra 5 gems or 2m coins if u complete 2 attacks in there to try get players to go in.
Make it unlimited attacks but only 1 account made from same ip can go in there at any one time.

Keep it at the 10 level cap.
And maybe a daily reward for most wins.

This would benefit the people who can spend all day in there.

I also think we need more PvP and would enjoy it more than quests, HR, etc.

Herby had a good idea and has been putting it out there for weeks. It's an event where 5 players could fight on a team using only their leaders. I think he was thinking in a quest aspect, but this could be also used for a PvP event. Imagine 5 leaders against 5 leaders in an arena style battle. Last man standing take the rewards, nothing terribly fancy. Maybe other heroes also, like one adamanti against another adamanti. This would be a great way to back up those WC rants on who's heroes are stronger. It's one thing to have a team of heroes fight another team of heroes, but a total different story when it's one on one.

This is what I'd like to see.
Ok I see what your saying, true I want to use any type of enviroment (the wild in this case for pve) to get players active in the wild. Its been tuff the past couple months running through every level. The smaller players can even only lose 1% of there loot if attacks, or .00001%, at this point I just want more action, maybe airie city can left attack restrictions . Booya has a good Idea to.

It may bee fun though to see how many actual player's real formations on my server I will be able to beat on my server using an all-blue team
Ah, but there will be no runes or amor, so the only thing going for higher players is talent.
Yeah Yeah, I know I don't look like that, but a girl can dream.

Imagine Airie City restrictions lifted? As awesome as I could see this being, the flood of complaints would be overwhelming.
Boo's arena idea is good and it will help our income issue on older servers.
Getting more people in the wild is a good plan, and I see what your saying now. It would be nice if we could still use the maps after the quests were completed. Like a daily treasure hunt or something. Maybe have those chests of coins appear in certain places in all the maps once a day? That would get people into the wild for sure.
Maybe this is worth asking Dawnseeker to speak to the Dev's about.

What we need is something that will make it worthwhile for players to venture into the wilds and risk getting hit. I like the idea of random but not too frequent drops from the monsters you fight but only if you are not auto grinding and not if you fight the same monster twice (so that you do not stand there hitting a monster over and over since they no longer die). There would have to be some sort of a limit on how many drops you can get on a day.

I think chests full of 100k Coins or more would get people into the wilds. Put them where they were while we were doing the quests. Most people I know would do it for less because there aren't too many sources of income. After reset they could respawn for the day and so on.

But they would go there, find the chest and get out. It would not take that long to find all of them in one area, and if you put too many of them out there you can seriously affect the balance of power on a server. By having random from from attacking the monsters you would have to stay there longer to get any benefit.

Another possibility (a variation on your idea) would be to use chests but they could be empty or have goodies in them. The y would appear and disappear and disappear at random intervals at several locations (and not just a few) and would remain there for a limited amount of time. Something similar to the Lady but having several of them and the duration that they are there and the frequency that they appear is random as would be the contents.

Sort of like an Easter Egg hunt where some of the eggs are empty and some contain prices of different value and if you do not find one on time it goes away and is later replaced by one that could have a different price. The possible location would have to be the same for all players, because that is a limitation of the way the programming works, but the contents at any one time of where the cests are currently visible and for how long would be random for each players. I do not envision this to be an 'event' where people help each other find the chest that has the good stuff.

The prices can be anything from an empty chest, coins, credits or experience, all of random amounts. They could also include very rare drops of chips, blue medals, hero cards and leader card (sounds familiar, guild chests). The odds would be a lot less that a guild chest, since you would be able to open a lot of chests in one day, but the odds of not getting an empty chest have to be high enough so that people do not give up.

The more I think about it I like this last one a lot better that monster drops because you do not have to deal with battle scenes.

I just though of something else. If a player is just sitting there and attacking other players without opening chests they wold be teleported to the Aerie city and not allowed back into the wilds for a period of time. This will serve to prevent high level players from just sitting there and attacking everyone that comes by. Another possibility do accomplish that is that after the 12 daily attacks one of the goodies that you could get from a chest is an extra attack.

I also see where the attack shield could seriously affect this concept. Maybe it should work so that if you have a shield and do not get an empty chest your sheild goes away.

i was also thinking of something similar, like players can stay in aerie city only for 30min and then they are sent back in the wild randomly to any of the maps. This way most players who areonline will be in the wild most of the times. Also there can be a lmit to how many times a player can get attacked to and the curent 10 level difference will still apply and the limit of only 10 attack too. This shoould not be very hard for the devs to add and also keep players occupieed as they will have to search the wild for certain players

You don't really know GW till you play outside servers 1-10

Thats fine Andy, I 100% agree, anything to get players out and about.

I do not support this at all. It means that I would be sent to the wilds when I am away from the game and will be unable to defend myself. I would be a sitting duck all night, and any other time I am away from the game, and be attacked every 1/2 hour when the shield expires. That is the main reason I stopped playing Evony II, and some other games, and started playing Tynon.
