Fighting Pompey in Royal Challenge

Today I was fighting, or trying to, win Pompey to add to my hero group. FIRST thing I noticed is that he has 2 MARIAS in the lineup...What gives with that? Then, to make it worse, his sub was MARIA too. so a total of 3 heros of Pompey are Marias..how the hell are you supposed to win against three healers when Pompey have over 230 million in power as it is. I find this really unbalanced and how do you fight against that kind of group. I have over 55 million power and see people in the replay with far less win...where I get clobbered like I have nothing. Any suggestions or should I just forget this hero???

Have you tried the forms people used in the replays?

Yes, I have, and get clobbered and what gets me is the replays have people with MUCH less power than I have..it makes no sense...I know I am not the strongest, but a 54 million power player using the same characters and getting totally wiped out when the replay shows players with 1/2 as much power as I do easily winning and having over 1/2 their health left is total BS.

I think what you might be missing is the lightbringer set on flavius.

I have all the LB equipment on all 6 characters except the spirit, but I do have the LB one on Adam. Also, one of my mages has the Justice Staff at level 39. So, Flavius does have all LB gear except the spirit. I checked and a few of the people that beat Pompey had only 23 million power, whereas I have over 54 million...so almost twice as much..using the SAME heros and formation and still get annihilated...can't even make 60% on the boss mobs. Something is definitely out of whack here! How can they easily beat that challenge whereas I can't even come close? Makes no sense to me at all. I even have almost all heros equipped with the 100 frag runes...just finishing up the Reliability one on two heros of the 6. What is wrong?

You need the spirit on flavius to stop pompey doing his skill attack,this is why your queenp is not holding the line.Watch the replay closely,you will see every round flavius skills him.I got stuck on him also and was doing 12% damage.

People's power in the replay don't reflect their actual power...

When I was fighting Pompey, I only really geared up queen Penn and managed to kill him at around 26M power, while my actual power at the time was around 40M.

People are lazy, so they only put on whatever runes/gear is necessary to beat the bosses. Those powers are far from their actual powered up powers.

The formations work but are heavily dependent on Flavius have a complete lightbringer set.

If you just use the formations used in the replays, with the 6 LB-set on Flavius, you will be able to beat him with 80% something left.. I was 30m power when I beat and recruited pompey with that formation, and its pretty easy
