Disbanding Guild Cooldown is Annoying

Im trying to disband my alt guild it says i have to wait 72 Hours and after that another 12 Hours Why is that?

Isn't 72 hours are more than enough for the guild security? why do we have to wait 12 hours too...

It applies across the board. If you were in a guild, you must be guildless for 12 hours before joining an alt guild. We don't want there to be any method of bypassing this cooldown.

yes of the members ofc. but when there is the owner himself in his guild alone why the 12 hours is recommeded when i have to wait already 72 hours for the guild to be disbanded. i don't find there is a reason for it

Well there is a way around it for the owner.

Invite an unsuspecting peon to the guild. Make him a guild leader then leave. ROFL.

Now you have 12 hour cool down.

The unsuspecting peon then takes over the guild and it becomes the #1 guild on the server. LMFAO

When i was playing on server 5 our guild got disbanded as somehow the host's account got hacked and we lost all our GW cities up till lvl 4 after which tynon added the cooldown to prevent something liek this happening as not everymember of the guild will have to suffer.

Keeping the 72 hours is good for the Guild Owners but the 12 hours isn't really needed , because the owner already have waiting 3 days no need to wait another half day. 3 days are enough. once the guild is disbanded by the owner the owner can join any guild directly without waiting 12 hours extra. that's what should happen. because its really unbalanced CD.

was wondering about that myself. One could infer that because dawn has seen and replied to the original poster that they are infact allowed as there was no reprimand about it that i can see in this thread.....

yea that's probably part of the coding that a player has to wait 12 hrs no matter if he disbanded guild or quit. I would suggest that they just leave it the way it is, if they try to change it there might be some other unnecessary bugs because of it and i know 72hrs is long but another 12hrs wont hurt oyu much specially as oyu won't be doing this every week or so and only a few players have to go through this anyway.
