I used the casino for 3 spins and got level 1 gems all 3 times. Since then have not even bothered looking at it.

Free spins increase spending within the casino itself. Without a free spin about 90% of players will never use the Casino. With a free spin everyone will use it daily, due to the natural compulsion to keep playing because "the next one has to be better" at-least 50-75% will then continue to spend gems to go for rewards. Tynon makes far more money and all players are happier. Alts are already going to be spinning all the time because they have nothing better to spend their gems on...Alts are pretty much good for nothing in this game. Quit being a downer :P

The truth is, if its the only chance to get hero skills, it should actually have a chance to win, and not give rewards based on their made-up prices (like rune summon or multimilion gem chips).
Hero cards too, they claim its 2k gems, but every level 10 player can get one free every 2 weeks

overall, i'm still curious how do they put gambling w/o warnings and get away with it. I'm seriously addicted to it now

EDIT: it wouldnt be a surprise with all the wartune-like thefts that the hero skills dont even exist in the reward list, same as some hero cards - you cant see "on hover" description
