    Patch: More Balanced Guild Warfare

Patch notes I don't understand, can someone clarify this for me?

    patch note.gif

What cities are we talking about exactly? Are these the ones during a fight, or the ones acquired by a guild?

Does this mean that if a guild holds 11 city buffs for instance, their enemies get (11-2)x10% as a buff? (90%)

Or does this mean that when the fight begins and the defender starts in B, attacker gets 20% buff?

    How did your GWs go?

How did your GWs go with the new durability changes?

Today our guild was split defending 2 cities and attacking 1.
-- We placed only a few to defend vs a lower-powered guild (but big in numbers). Our warriors' durability were drained, overwhelmed and we lost the city.
-- We placed the bulk of our forces on a city that was not attacked (won)
-- And placed 10 of our strongest warriors attacking a near-equal powered rival. Through many skirmishes we managed to make it to F-camp, with 40 to 65 durability each (+20% for camp bonuses). With 3 at F, and 7 slowly arriving we marched into G (with 3) and discovered they deployed all forces (~35) at G. Outnumbered and drained, with their fresh warriors coming at us, we couldn't quite make it to D again, and withdrew our attack designs.
    It was awesome!

Bottom line: While we had more power, we were severely outnumbered.
Note to self: Bring reinforcements next time; Never attack a HQ with less than 5.

losing cities and battles in GW to people 10 times lower in power

is anyone else having issues with losing to people much lower power and losing cities? we lost 2 cities to guilds with less than 80% of our power at those cities...a 3 mil took out a 69mil by himself. looking for others with the same issue (we were server 106)

Correct. And this 90% is added with +5% per camp. So when at F it's 110% boost.
    So if you are at F with 65 durability, it's .... 70% power + (90%+20%) total +80% boost.

so we slow people down from building, take away their rep cities after increasing the rep requirements to get heroes because......we want people to quit playing and play another game that rewards people for spending and building? what a great strategy....maybe it is time to move on

i dont know the buffs added make no sence to me a 19 mill power guy almost took me out at 57 mill power in the very first battle left me with about 20% health. that was with me going from B to A. I like how they makeing GW more of a challenge tho just dont understand the math behind it. Definantly going to be a challenge to figure out the new system.

I participated in GW on server 106... i am 27 million.. we... I mean my partner who is 30 mil ...were both beaten in the same fight.. by a 16 mil player...... she beat us both... it was the only fight that we were in... so our durability was 100% ..... so... I find no point in spending and building to get bigger... since they are catering to the whining masses who refuse to spend to build or make the effort to build at all and tynon is handing them all of the cities without effort... then I refuse to spend anymore money on this game... Thank you tynon for showing me the light... I will be riding the tynon welfare train too... no more spending for me... if a 3 mil player can take out a 69mil player all by themselves... then why bother building and spending?? I ... at the size of 27 mil should be able to take on ExecDude and win.. so I will no longer bother to build or spend... I WILL NOW RIDE THE TYNON WELFARE TRAIN ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE WHINERS... THANK YOU TYNON FOR SHOWING ME HOW TO RIDE THE TYNON WELFARE TRAIN!!

    the new system is easy
for every city you own, and by city i mean the actual cities like jengu birch mist etc
your opponent gets a 5% power bonus

so thats part 1 of the change

    part 2 is this
instead of losing 1 durability after every fight
you lose 5 if you win and 10 if you lose

This lets a guild at say level 7 build up 50 alts at 10k power and beat the uber guild
    ITS HILARIOUS

We will all get the hang of it shortly and it will be back to being as boring as ever

so tynon rewards alts and small players that don't spend to take out players that build and spend because they want more non-spending players to play and chase out the spending players....yes, what a great business strategy. we look forward to moving to a new game as a guild cause we met some great people here. glad you helped us make a decision tynon
