Personally, I think they should assign the current buffs to guild level. Then come up with a whole new set of buffs and boosts to attach to the GW cities, clear all servers and start from scratch. All guilds with ZERO cities. This way nobody is losing, and several people will actually GAIN something they have been missing out on. And, this essentially creates and whole new mini-game

How is this patch a good first step? These changes should be made when servers are merged. Players have invested time and money and played the game as received. Most members of winning guilds have invested time, energy, and money to be in the winning guild. Tynon decides mid-stream the game is flawed and need to implement this radical patch to correct their game. Correct the game on new servers, merge the flawed servers. This patch is far from fair.
