Andy there's one major problem to this:

There are many Real players, who have paid VIPs, who created their email login of an email that does not exist.
You need to prepare a way for these persons to change their email (so they are able to validate it). Otherwise they're totally screwed out of a game they invested months of time and hundreds of $$.

There is a place in your registration record where you can provide an alternate email address.
