hero upgrades to 9 stars glitching

hi, not a very happy player today! after weeks of unsuccessfully attempting to get my heroes up to 9 stars and above (at a cost of many hundreds of blue stars)....i finally managed to get adamanti to 9 stars, and then a short while later i got cianna to 9 stars also...i was so happy at this point i thought i'd take a picture of my success...just to have bragging rights over my missus :-). then to my horror.....the game did what it always doe's when things are just starting to go well for me...it crashed. i refreshed the game, and when i checked all my heroes to see who i was going to attempt to upgrade further..imagine my horror to find that bother adamanti and cianna are now both without their ninth stars....this is grossly unfair, as this is obviously a game glitch and not through something i've done myself. give me back the upgrades on both adamanti and cianna please!! and do not fob me off with the usual line oh it's a glitch ..they weren't there...as i have the photographic evidence (on cianna at least) to show her with the 9 stars.

If the medals that you used are back then do it again and you should get the same results. If the medals are gone use the Support tab in the game Chat to open a ticket. Make sure you include the server and your game name in that server in the information provided. Be as specific as possible including the approximate date and server time when it happen. If you have any evidence, such as screen captures, attach it to the ticket.

I might have the answer to this, Dawnseeker replied to a similar query in another thread.

We're aware of this bug. The cause is that the client and server become desynchronized and the client believes that a star was gained when it actually failed. Refreshing corrects the display error. It's on the list of things to get fixed, but is not as of a priority as I wish it was, since it appears the game is removing your stars. I've had it happen to me a couple times as well. Its pretty annoying.

cheers for the advice andy.....have already submitted ticket to support along with screen shot of 9stars on cianna. here's hoping tynon doe's the right thing by us gamers affected by this "glitch". i had already done all that you'd suggested in your reply...but none of the stars used to get the upgrades on either of my heroes have been returned to me..and we are not talking about just one or two stars but over 100+ .......simply not good enough to receive a fob off message from tynon saying its a glitch they are aware of...just thought i'd cover my bases on this one by submitting to technical support here as things seem to be responded to quicker through this channel than through the support tab in game

I think the point is although you are welcome to put a ticket in you will receive the same response from CS. It's a display glitch and although it looked like your Cianna upgraded to 9 stars, sadly it never actually was.

lol that was almost a perfect duplicate of the response i've received from customer support. the sad thing was..they couldn't even be bothered to offer an apology for what is in essence a problem of their own design. it was hard enough to accept the fact i was on the receiving end of another of their game issues...but their response leaves a very bitter taste in the mouth :-( starting to think they should rename their company to UCOOL ? BECAUSE WE DON'T GIVE A STUFF ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMER CARE

If you've successfully upgraded your star level above level 7 or level 9, it will be announced in the world channel. If you did not see any announcement in the world channel, the upgrade of your star actually did not take place.

I had this happen to me this morning. I upped Adam and Lance to seven stars, and after upping Dawn another star level, went to recheck everyone and no star upgrade. For any of them. Major suckage.
