    Too much disparity

I feel that there is too much disparity between those who buy VIP status and those who don't. I'm not talking about VIP1.. i mean like VIP3 and above. They are too powerful. They **** (there is no better word for it) lobies in the wild and on the Priates boats. I know that there needs to be bonus for those who spend the bucks, and I know it's necessary to have the people to spend money too. The trick is, how do you balance it so that the people who won't/can't spend money stand a chance vs. those who can drop $30+ a week. You will find that the majority of your players are those who don't spend money. They will quit it if they continue to get raped like they do. You need to find a good balance. I don't feel like the game is there yet.

Also, there are still SEVERAL bugs. One is that you have to refresh very often, and sometimes can't get back into the game if there is a special thing going on... like banish baal or the Noble Lady.

Not at all. I have not spent one dime on this game and I am ranked 7th or so...and have the 4th best hero in the game power-wise.

Well a lot of the things you get with Gems are things you also get just by playing the game. There are very few things that can only be purchased with Gems.

What the OP means is that if you have gems you can "buy your power" in the sense you buy those millions of credits/coins and then use the gems to also reset cooldown times on talents/smithing and can buy tons of runes easily.

The talents right now make up the majority of your players power followed up by runes and miles behind your actual equipement comes in last for how much it adds to your overall power.

My gear is miles better than near everyone that has 200-400k more power than my toon but since I dont have gems to spend on cooldown timers I cant power skill talents and can not buy tons of coin to buy millions of runes either.

This game is very "pay to win".

As a test why not give me a character for just 1 day that represents a "whale gamer" that can and do spend $10,000 or more in the very first week of a server opening and Ill show you exactly how broken the current systems are.

This is exactly what I meant. If you have gems, you buy the credit/coins, all you want. It snowballs from there. Once you can bully people in the wild you get more. The banish events reward you according to your damgage done... this rewards the higher powered players as well. I'm not saying that there shouldn't be some benefit to dropping real life money in the game, but the disparity is great. Now that the Noble Lady doesn't give gems, the little guys don't really have a decent way to close the gap. Yeah, we earn gems by doing quests and stuff in the game, but so do the people who already bought them. They get them faster. The most difficult thing to work out in these games that allow players to buy perks is to find enough balance to keep both the "Whales" and the average gamer interested. I was merely giving my feedback on this issue. I wan't trying to start a cry fest over it.

Dawn is right....you really don't need money for this game at all, they GIVE you free gems...I have over 800 still now and I have almost 500k power.

You then got lucky with the noble lady because you dont get that many free from the 7 day event.

They really need to make gear level and rank mean a lot more in terms of character power or itll be a full pay to win game past the first week of play.

You get gems from the first 6 days too. AND from completing quests you can get gems. AND from completing daily tasks, like the Labyrinth. AND the daily Noble Lady.

I think I made myself clear....
