I think this game is very well balanced. If someone is ranked high, chances are they got there out of good game play. Most of the Guild I'm in is not VIP status, and they are ranked higher than myself. I'm VIP4 The amount of Gems that are given away or earned are more than sufficient to grow at a fast pace.
