OK I found out some interesting stuff tonite. Things that I never realized, that Tynon never explained. This may explain why it's even worse than I thought. I wondered ~ how on earth are 2 guilds that are not that far apart in power, members and all be soooo far apart in battle in GW. Well .... it seems that there is a HUGE buff added to them just because they don't own cities. So the owners of the cities get a HUGE deficit, attackers get +buffs(75% in this case) added to them BEFORE THE FIGHTS BEGIN. Then you add on to that the -5 and -10 per loss and well it gets very bad very fast!!!! So until they take 5 or 6 of the 11 available, they keep the advantage. This is HUGE folks, and really really stupid.

I can sort of see this for servers that have a common GW between the 3 realms, as in BETA, which is the only one like that I have personally played. However, for 1-10 that have 5 realms, and 5 diff GW this has an overwhelming disadvantage to the defending guild. On realms that have 1 super guild, and a small guild or two to bid just to get a GW, and finish assistant, this is not such an issue. But for realms that have a challenge, it sure has changed things, but not in a fair way. It has disabled the defense to the point that all there is to do is let it settle out to even cities.

Need I say = has taken the challenge out, except to recruit, (take in alts) or whatever to keep up the numbers, so you keep what cities you can. HMMMM.... not a fan of this. Strategy can't work when you are given such a disadvantage before you begin. It's a sad sad day when Tynon rewards people for not being big, and punishes those who have built up, and flies in the face of other events that richly reward those who have invested. Ya can't have it both ways Tynon.
