Yes some guilds seem to just take the efforts of other guilds as a joke, and therefore, the entire activity as a joke to them, so they get lazy and just dump all their biggest and spendiest in on one GW throwing their alts and littles to defend elsewhere, obviously. And as you say, that's not really planning. It's just assuming they will win. Of course they are going to be unhappy if they ever lose. They pay to feel like big winners. It's sort of like seeing the game as a version of chuck e. cheese... where everyone wins because someone put up the money to make it look that way. There are some in these uber grabby guilds that, in fact are good gamers, some that know tynon particularly well. But more often, it's simply a matter of tossing money at the problem of a boss or getting the hero you want when you want it. So yes, such guilds will have spoiled themselves this way over time. Gotten fat and lazy... We would divide our GW defenders up and attackers too, only on our server, until Monday night, no one had seen anyone else own a city since November of last year. Made even the parts of the game that weren't already automatic, rather boring to attend. Now at least there is something to work towards.
